Specifically the incumbent will be responsible to support, provide vendor contracts, and monitor SLAs for services and products provided to GIS. The incumbent manage GIS software procurement process and licensing lifecycle ensuring that all products remain licensed with sufficient capacity and monitor and provides analysis and advice to GIS management concerning budget variances and potential revenue or expenditure exposures that would affect the overall surplus/deficit position of the department.<br><br>Main Responsibilities<br><br> Shareholder & Financial: - Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the budget process including: review of service area business plans and key performance indicators; annual capital budget and forecasts that include available and appropriate funding sources along with required project justification analysis; operating budget and forecast submissions that adhere to direction set by bank - Participate and support the teams in contract negotiations as part of vendor selection process. - Negotiate on contract value so that it is commensurate with the statement of work and derive maximum business value for QNB - Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent. - Implements KPI’s and best practices for Cyber Security Strategy and Product Management. - Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank. Customer (Internal & External): - Coordinate with Senior Vice President Group Risk Project Management in the department’s annual budgeting process - Monitors capital and operating budget performance of GIS to identify unfavourable budget variances and recommend mitigating actions or additional approvals required to minimize impact to yearend surplus/deficit. - Provides supporting financial information and undertakes analysis as required to support internal departments including the preparation of applications for funding for capital infrastructure and other projects. - Provide Budget information to all GIS personnel. - To assist customers in all their queries on Bank’s product and seek solution to their requests. - Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. - Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group’s objectives. - Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - Conducts research and analysis of financial and budget matters relating to Finance policies and objectives, and makes recommendations to senior staff. - Maintain all license and contracts with vendors and ensure compliance of GIS to this requirement. - Prepare Weekly, Monthly and yearly budget reports for management review. - Process all the vendor invoices in a timely manner. - Coordinate with Tender committee and GFCD for verifying of the budget information. Learning & Knowledge: - Remain current on the best practices of budget and financial management. - Constantly try and improve GIS contractual and service level agreement terms and conditions to best suit the business requirements - Constantly try to develop newer techniques to manage vendors. - Build newer channels internally to validate services delivered by vendor are up to the expectation of GIS and other business units. <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><br><p>The Application Engineer assists customers by identifying the best solution for their application, offers and sells complete product solutions from the <strong>Flow Controls</strong> portfolio, provides commercial and technical support to customers, and strives to deliver the highest standards of customer service while working closely with peers, Outside Sales, Service Engineers, Business Managers, and other stakeholders.</p><br><p>The Application Engineer will be based in Kuwait or Qatar. Job Description<br><br>To lead the project planning and delivery of Data Analytics based solutions and client engagements. To work with project owners and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations as well as with the team to scope and manage projects, mitigate risk, apply governance best practices, manage key stakeholders, execute communication plans, and ensure the successful delivery of projects with a focus on offering excellence in customer experience.<br><br>Deliver data projects and products on time, within budget, while meeting client’s expectations. Plan, assign, manage and coordinate activities pertaining to data technology multi-year projects, on an enterprise level with multiple releases and work streams. Verify project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Create, maintain, own and accountable for WBS, project plan, issue and risk logs, other PM tools. Manage project delivery team consisting of multiple vendors and internal resources, ensuring alignment on development timelines and handoffs between teams. Actively manage delivery process between requirements gathering, data ingestion, data modeling, pipeline development and data visualization via multiple delivery vendors and teams. Organizes and facilitates cross functional teams (product owners, IT data engineering, IT security, business data analytics, QA and data science) for projects. Own and manage the Data Engineering and Visualization product backlog ensuring backlog is up to date, tickets include fulsome descriptions and tickets are linked where necessary. Prepare and present project level reporting to project stakeholders and executives via bi-weekly Project Review meeting. Provide quality review of client deliverables, secure client delivery acceptance. Work with the client and the team to identify solutions to challenges and roadblocks that come up Lead lessons learned reviews to evaluate project success and recommend process improvements. Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their successful execution. Managing customer satisfaction, conducting post-project evaluation and providing feedback to PMO for continuous improvements. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and leading Standups Administrator and co-administer various Jira boards (Enterprise Engineering, Prototyping etc) Be the first point of escalation for project risks. Manage the process of escalating risks and communicating to the appropriate parties in a timely manner. Support in various activities as deemed necessary including but not limited to data analysis, business analysis, documentation, test plan development, and conduct UAT.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br> QUALIFICATIONS <br><br>Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer Science, business analytics, or a related field. Excellent customer facing skills with strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Proven experience in conflict resolution, organizational change management, facilitation and presentation development. <br><br>Must Have<br><br>Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Scrum Master certification is required. At least 8 years’ experience delivering data governance, data management, analytics & BI projects, minimum 4 years should be in project management role. Role Purpose<br><br>The Data Compliance & Privacy Consultant helps clients understand and implement the legal, regulatory, policy and control requirements affecting data. The role supports the translation of obligations into practical requirements for collection, classification, access, sharing, retention, analytics, security and disposal. It also helps clients establish evidence, monitoring, exception and remediation practices that demonstrate responsible handling.<br><br>The consultant works closely with data governance, security, legal, risk, records, architecture and operational teams. The role may conduct assessments, draft control requirements, support privacy and sharing reviews and prepare compliance recommendations, but it does not provide final legal opinions or accept client risk. The objective is to make compliance actionable within data processes and technical delivery while ensuring unresolved legal or regulatory questions are escalated to appropriately authorised client advisers.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Identify legal, regulatory, policy and contractual requirements relevant to client data activities and document their operational implications. Map requirements to data lifecycle stages, business processes, systems, controls, evidence and accountable client roles. Support privacy, data-protection, classification, handling, access, sharing, retention and disposal assessments. Review data-sharing agreements, processing arrangements, notices, consent requirements and evidence obligations with authorised legal stakeholders. Develop compliance matrices, control requirements, assessment questions, evidence requests and remediation trackers. Assess control design and available evidence and clearly distinguish confirmed compliance, gaps and matters requiring legal interpretation. Support privacy and security requirements in architecture, analytics, integration and data-product initiatives. Facilitate compliance workshops and communicate obligations in practical language to business and technical teams. Document exceptions, residual risks, decisions and escalation needs without assuming client risk-acceptance authority. Support monitoring plans, compliance reporting, corrective actions and periodic review cycles. Coordinate with governance, security, records, audit, system owners and external advisers as required. Prepare implementation guidance and transfer compliance knowledge to client personnel.<br><br>Minimum Requirements<br><br>Education<br><br>Bachelor's degree in law, information systems, cybersecurity, risk, audit or a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and directly applicable consulting or implementation experience may be considered.<br><br>Professional Experience<br><br>Typically 4-8 years in data protection, compliance, audit, governance or technology risk. Experience in data protection, privacy, regulatory compliance, information governance, risk or technology compliance. Experience translating obligations into controls, process requirements and evidence expectations. Experience working with legal, security, technology and business stakeholders on sensitive data matters.
