Job Title: Pre Commissioning Supervisor-Piping Job Location: Ras Laffan<br>Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Supervisor – Piping to lead and coordinate pre-commissioning activities for major Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing piping pre-commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and completion procedures. The role requires strong technical expertise in piping systems, commissioning documentation, and project handover.<br>Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience as a Pre-Commissioning Engineer/Supervisor in the Oil & Gas industry. Experience on EPC projects involving piping systems. Ras Laffan project experience will be an added advantage. Education:Diploma or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of piping pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Experience preparing Method Statements, JSAs, Work Packs, and commissioning documentation. Familiarity with completions management systems and project handover processes. Knowledge of SHES requirements and industry safety standards. Ability to prepare schedules, resource plans, and progress reports. Good command of written and spoken English.<br>Mandatory Criteria:Must have Oil & Gas pre-commissioning experience. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Mechanical Engineering qualification (Diploma/B. Tech). Ability to join projects in Qatar. Ras Laffan project experience is preferred.<br>Key Responsibilities:Review project engineering, technical, and SHES documentation before execution. Prepare Pre-Commissioning Method Statements, JSAs, and work packs. Plan and coordinate pre-commissioning schedules, manpower, and resources. Identify and arrange required tools, test equipment, temporary facilities, consumables, lubricants, and third-party services. Coordinate with the Completions team to update system and sub-system completion databases. Participate in constructability reviews to ensure smooth pre-commissioning and handover. Ensure all commissioning records, documentation, and handovers comply with project procedures. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout all pre-commissioning activities. Monitor progress and prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly status reports. Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and client teams to achieve timely project completion.

Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Carries out, supervises and co-ordinates the provision of drawing and design service to meet the requirement of engineering, maintenance and modification of Refining Operations plants and equipment.<br><br>Develops, manages, and maintains all aspects of documentation control (electronic & hard copy files) including philosophies, strategies, specifications, procedures and the design and implementation of a comprehensive documentation service. Responsible for coordinating Management of Change (MOC) processing and approval including preparation of As-built drawings, data sheets and other associated documents. Ensure correct level of accuracy and quality of presentation and that all drawings conform as per approved standards, specification and design requirement.<br><br>Provide information on Company standards to be used and the applicable numbering system. Also provide assistance to check and comment on incoming work from Contractor/vendor and review submission with the responsible discipline engineer. Liaison with project engineers to ensure correct and final handing over of project deliverables as built (Dossiers, drawings etc.).<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Good Knowledge of computerized Technical Document Management system (TDMS) and Electronic Document System (EDMS). A good level computer skill to set up application of Access, Excel with a good working knowledge of Auto CAD. MS project.12 Year experience in design work in a drawing office of a major petro-chemical design contracting organization including preferably at least 5 years in Drawing Office Supervisory post. Must be fully conversant with current international recognized standards and Codes of Practice related to the Petrochemical industry.
