Identifies software necessary to enable Civil Structural group to function effectively. Completed structural analysis and design of on-shore oil and gas processing facilities:Concrete and Structural steel piperacks, storage tanks foundation, Vertical vessels foundations, Horizontal vessels and Heat exchangers foundation and Pipe supports etc. Infrastructures (Electrical Substations, Potable and Foul water pumping stations and water tanks) Buildings (Utility and Non-utility buildings) Ensures recognised onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design engineering are adopted within the discipline. Review designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required. Collaborates with project team in review of project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules. Leads weekly Civil Structural meetings, reviews progress reports and required checking procedures. Initiate, manage and supervise engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget. Organise and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of Civil Structural discipline engineers and designers, within the parameters of a project schedule. Understands and applies the Project Execution Plan (PEP) requirements - make-up and application (including the Engineering Plan). Reviews data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, and recommend actions. Crafts recommendations and reviews final documentation prior to customer approval. Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Establish a list of discipline deliverables. Controls, monitors and progresses these deliverables to an agreed schedule. Reviews final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval. Review similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports. Lead the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.<br>Quality Assurance<br><br>Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Responsible for leading VOR Disciplines Engineers, Disciplines Technicians in coordination with Qatar Energy Project Team and Contractors to ensure consistent and standardized execution of Project design, pre- commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for Operational Area (VO) Projects in accordance with approved Qatar Energy Procedures, Guidelines, Engineering Design, Safety & Environmental Standards/Specifications and Scope of Work to ensure that:<br><br>Operational Area Asset Owners are fully ready to assume ownership of the asset at the point of delivery/handover, and that they are able to operate and maintain that asset in a safe, reliable and sustainable manner.<br><br>Operational Area (VO) Projects are delivered much faster, at much lower cost and at the highest productivity while maintaining the highest standard in quality and HSE.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum of 15 years’ experience in design, construction, commissioning and start-up of oil & gas processing and production facilities (Onshore/Offshore), preferably with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum eight (8) years Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader. Experience in operations, maintenance, and projects’ pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Relevant technical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with trouble-shooting and problem solving skills. AV Design Engineer <br>Duties and Responsibilities: <br>Leads the shop drawings preparation and submissions. Study documents and drawings for tender and RFQs. Create the detailed BoQ. Create the system’s detailed schematic design. Coordination workshops and technical support to the projects team. Prepare progress reports (monthly, annual, drawings log, etc ). Job Description<br><br>The Protection Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, testing, commissioning, and maintaining protection systems in substations, power plants, and transmission/distribution networks. Will be responsible for review of inspection & testing procedure, FAT/SAT formats, method statements. Verify relay setting calculations for existing and new protection devices. Witnessing the testing and commissioning of all protection equipment and ensuring the protection and control philosophy is correctly implemented at site as per client specification. We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to provide first-line IT support, resolve technical issues, and deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with SLA targets. This role requires the ability to work in a 24×7 rotating shift environment.
