Oversee the operation, maintenance, testing, calibration, replacement, and performance monitoring of all types of water metering systems to ensure reliable and accurate measurement. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to water meters, metering accessories, communication devices, and associated systems to maintain operational reliability. Monitor water meter installation, replacement, upgrade, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and technical requirements. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Responsible for leading VOR Disciplines Engineers, Disciplines Technicians in coordination with Qatar Energy Project Team and Contractors to ensure consistent and standardized execution of Project design, pre- commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for Operational Area (VO) Projects in accordance with approved Qatar Energy Procedures, Guidelines, Engineering Design, Safety & Environmental Standards/Specifications and Scope of Work to ensure that:<br><br>Operational Area Asset Owners are fully ready to assume ownership of the asset at the point of delivery/handover, and that they are able to operate and maintain that asset in a safe, reliable and sustainable manner.<br><br>Operational Area (VO) Projects are delivered much faster, at much lower cost and at the highest productivity while maintaining the highest standard in quality and HSE.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum of 15 years’ experience in design, construction, commissioning and start-up of oil & gas processing and production facilities (Onshore/Offshore), preferably with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum eight (8) years Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader. Experience in operations, maintenance, and projects’ pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Relevant technical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with trouble-shooting and problem solving skills. AV Design Engineer <br>Duties and Responsibilities: <br>Leads the shop drawings preparation and submissions. Study documents and drawings for tender and RFQs. Create the detailed BoQ. Create the system’s detailed schematic design. Coordination workshops and technical support to the projects team. Prepare progress reports (monthly, annual, drawings log, etc ). Review system proposals through delegated DRs. To impart training to design team members & draughtsmen to improve team activities and efficiency. Train Techno Q staff members on selected topics. Implement Company Quality Management System<br><br>Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in AV system design, preferably in a consultancy or system integrator environment. Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, Visio, and other design/documentation software. Strong understanding of AV standards, signal types, and system integration. Familiarity with control and DSP platforms (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Biamp). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Avixa or CTS-D certification Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
