Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.<br><br>Purpose<br><br>You will provide civil engineering services to Worley, and its Customers and may provide technical support and supervision within the civil team.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Supports adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Deliver civil engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Perform civil engineering services such as:Conduct studies, analyses and recommend actions. Identifies opportunities to solve problems through applying engineering knowledge. Identifies professional risks, statutory responsibilities and liabilities. Ensures that the supporting documentation required to implement the design is accurate, concise, complete and clear. Prepares MTOs and BOQs. Prepares Scope of Work and technical specification for civil construction subcontracts. Prepares technical documentation for civil material requisition. If required, assist and support junior personnel within the civil engineering team. Communicate effectively with the civil engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. Perform discipline specific engineering services such as:Identify and report changes to project scope;Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports;Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Knows the discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. Coordinate review and approval of design and interfaces on client requirements and specifications.<br>Education, Qualifications, Accreditation, Training<br><br>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.<br><br>Technical And Industry Experience<br><br>Civil Structural engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore and onshore projects Engineering experience in the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities by Dimensions:</strong></p><p><strong>A. Shareholder &amp; Financial:</strong> Coordinate with the Head of Enterprise Architecture to provide architectural recommendations that fall inline with the Group s overall strategy and vision.</p><p><strong>B.Customer (Internal &amp; External):</strong> Meet with internal managers and project owners to understand and document their requirements prior to providing suitable solutions. Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with all other related departments, units and vendors to achieve the Group s goals/ objectives.</p><p><strong>C.Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):</strong> Develop and deliver against the organization s strategy and successfully implement Infrastructure Architecture through active engagement delivery and investment programs. Use industry standard architecture methodologies to successfully implement and grow the Infrastructure Architecture of the bank. Design and Build an up to date Infrastructure Architecture to ensure smooth and seamless propagation of data between systems and subsystems. Cover all internal systems as well as their dependence on multiple vendor products and services. Propose new enterprise standards based on business need, IT need and technology advances. Assist project teams to implement the standards into business applications. Employ and enforce IT industry standards such as ITIL. Performs architecture reviews with infrastructure teams, Internal Risk management (IRM) and audit teams to ensure adherence to standards, information risk management policies. Work closely with network and infrastructure teams, and project teams to understand their needs and ensure the best enterprise standard is implemented. Identify gaps in the Corporate Information/Data Model and address them actively in collaboration with the business support teams. Maintains a technology watch to identify emerging technologies that are relevant to the line of business. Builds awareness of key emerging technologies and promotes to the business in order to address their issues. Lead the preparation and maintenance of documentation and standards for the different activities and systems user guides as per the overall documentation policy. Ensure that design and development standards are integrated with the Group s governance framework. Ensure compliance and adherence to existing standards and policies in regards to IT security, internet and VPN security, and BCP and disaster recovery. Carry out requirements as directly assigned by the Head of IT Enterprise Architecture and in accordance with the overall business plan.</p><p><strong>D.Learning &amp; Knowledge:</strong> Understand user requirements and existing systems in order to provide the proper solutions by enhancing the existing systems or providing new systems. Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture and limitations in deciding on methods of problem solving which may impact overall resource availability and time to deliver changes. Perform careful analysis to ensure changes are in congruence with the Group s long term planning and approved strategy. Initiate regular meetings which aim to add value by discussing progress, problems, and any other issues of concern. Identify areas for professional development of self and direct reports and act to enhance professional development of self and others.</p><p><strong>E.Other:</strong> Ensure high standards and security of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Education/Experience Requirements: University graduate (Computer Science or related degree) with at least 4 years experience in financial services with a specialization in infrastructure architecture, design and management. Specific courses in IT security and Infrastructure Architecture. Required Special Skills: Self-driven with well-developed motivational and team-building skills. Strong experience in Architectural design. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferable). Effective leadership and management skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Project management skills. Strong documentation skills. Good interpersonal skills.</p><p></p></section>
