Location: Qatar<br><br>Reports To: Lead E&I Planning<br><br>Job Purpose<br><br>We are seeking an experienced Instrument Planner to provide maintenance planning support to the Asset Maintenance Team, ensuring effective planning and resource allocation for maintenance activities. The role is responsible for optimizing maintenance execution, improving equipment reliability, and supporting the safe and efficient operation for onshore facilities.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Develop and execute maintenance plans in alignment with maintenance KPIs and operational objectives. Prepare detailed scopes of work for maintenance work orders and ensure readiness prior to execution. Review and allocate required resources, including manpower, materials, tools, equipment, contracts, and logistics support. Perform daily review of maintenance notifications and work orders to ensure planning accuracy, realistic completion timelines, and elimination of duplicate work requests. Ensure all costs related to maintenance activities are captured and approved within work orders. Maintain compliance with company maintenance standards, procedures, and policies. Raise and manage SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) requests related to incorrect or missing Bill of Materials (BOM) information. Prepare Material Return to Stock (MRS) documentation for surplus and unused materials. Coordinate monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) reviews and develop plans at least 12 weeks ahead of schedule. Maintain and update SAP PM task lists for routine and recurring maintenance activities. Support work order close-out activities, including Technical Completion (TECO) in SAP. Collaborate closely with Maintenance Supervisors, Senior Planners, Schedulers, System Analysts, Engineering, Projects, and Supply teams.<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Education<br><br>Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification in Engineering.<br><br>Experience<br><br>Minimum 7 years of maintenance planning/scheduling experience within the oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or process industries. At least 3 years of dedicated experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling roles. Proven experience supporting maintenance activities for onshore processing facilities, LNG plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, or similar industrial assets. Experience using SAP PM for maintenance planning, work order management, preventive maintenance, and reporting.<br><br>Technical Skills<br><br>Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes. Proficiency in SAP PM and maintenance management systems. Good understanding of maintenance workflows, preventive maintenance programs, BOM management, and work order lifecycle.
