Job Purpose:<br><br>Electrical Design Lead will be capable of reviewing & executing Electrical Engineering Activities for AIS / GIS Substations covering the full cycle of works from pre-bid engineering to support during commissioning and warranty periods and to extend support to site team. Will lead a team of Design Engineers and Draughtsman to manage the Engineering activities within budget, deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineering<br>Key Drivers:Review drawings by Design Engineers & Draughtsman & checking of design & sizing calculations of electrical equipment and obtaining approvals from the client. Check deliverables such as Equipment layouts, Cable Routing Layout, Cable Tray Layout, Earthing Layout, lighting Layout, Lightning Protection Layout, Cabling,interfaces, Schemes, Wiring,’SCADA’,Control systems. Recording inspection findings and maintaining accurate quality records in relevant systems, ensuring timely updates and effective document control. Providing field-based technical support and guidance to contractors and project teams on quality-related matters.
