Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage Industry Specific Experience Extensive work experience in onshore projects at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry. Job Summary The Lead Mechanical Engineer is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in mechanical engineering to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role involves leading a team of mechanical engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and spearheading the design and development of mechanical systems. Job Responsibilities 1Provide technical support in respect to mechanical engineering discipline activities for potential investments, and determine the different phases, scope, budget, quality, and time. Support the Investment Implementation Department for all procurement, investment control functions and commercial aspects of the investment in respect to mechanical engineering discipline activities. Provide technical inputs in his experience to all HQ and site organization in accordance with the terms of the contract and advise taking of all measures necessary for the performance of the works. Be authorized to represent in dealing of all mechanical engineering discipline activities with the client and third parties, making statements and representations in connection with negotiations with the client. Provide technical, operational, and managerial leadership for successful development and implementation of the investment. Oversee all implementation of investments that are in line with the original plans and forecasts related to mechanical engineering discipline activities. Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives. Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. Manage the key stakeholder’s communication and requirements mainly the client, Joint Venture members (if any) and leading entities for mechanical engineering discipline matters. Support that investment mechanical engineering discipline activities operate within the policies and procedures and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards. Accountable on investment budget and baseline development for technical inputs. Contribute to decision making cycle through preparing consolidated reports and address any specific challenges, risks, and mitigations about mechanical engineering discipline matters. Job Responsibilities 2Work with functional managers in the development, implementation and operation phase in HQ and site organizations. Review and approve all mechanical design activities of the investments. Managing risks of all investments related to mechanical engineering discipline matters to avoid delays or reputational damage. Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies. Job Knowledge & Skills Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Leadership and team management experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. About the Role Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technical Engineering team as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level 1 who is responsible to deliver aircraft Maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checks and duties within their authority as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. To provide specialized knowledge skills and expertise and require ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation. Operational Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to assigned tasks within framework of Qatar Airways procedures. Reviews work procedures, standards and proposes improvements where procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective. Responsible for the final release of work accomplished by the Mechanics. Ensure tasks are performed to meet company/Customer standard and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers. Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of his authority, and ensure that aircrafts or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements. Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position. When supervising the wok of others, ensuring that acceptable standard of workmanship and quality are maintained and the correct tools are employed to accomplish the task. Qualifications About You:High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience Essential Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or vocation aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B. Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering Must hold minimum 1 full QR main fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals. As per company requirement, must arrange to have equipment, heavy vehicle driving license to facilitate Maintenance task requirements. Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. An international engineering consultancy company is seeking a highly qualified Senior Surface Water Drainage Design Engineer with extensive experience in the planning and design of surface water drainage systems for large-scale highway and infrastructure developments in Qatar. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage). Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the design of surface water drainage systems for roads and highway infrastructure projects. At least 5 years of experience in GCC countries. Valid MMUP (UPDA) Certificate is mandatory. Proven experience in the hydraulic and hydrological design of stormwater drainage networks, culverts, channels, retention and detention systems, and flood mitigation measures. Strong knowledge of Qatar and international drainage design standards and specifications. Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as Civil 3D, Info Drainage, Info Works ICM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Micro Drainage, Auto CAD, or equivalent hydraulic modeling tools. Excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Our engineering teams are at the intersection of business analytics, ml engineering, data warehousing and software engineering. Our job involves dealing with distributed systems, stream processing, ml modeling and computation at tens of PB Scale. We focus on software engineering related to data replication, storage, centralized computation, and Data API’s. By providing our users with ML products/tools, shared frameworks, and ML services, we enable our company to validate strategic decisions, make smarter choices, and react to the fast-changing world. We are a small but passionate team with people from different nationalities working together on a single goal. In this Role, you will get to: Lead the team technically in improving scalability, stability, accuracy, speed and efficiency of our existing ML systems and processes. Build, administer and scale ML processing pipelines. Be comfortable navigating the following technology stack: Python3, Scala Spark, scripting (Bash/Python), Hadoop, SQL, S3 etc. Should be able to understand internals of ML models such as Light GBM, Random Forest, CNN, Regression models, etc Design, build, test and deploy new libraries, frameworks or full systems for our core systems while keeping to the highest standards of testing and code quality. Work with experienced engineers and product owners to identify and build tools to automate many large-scale data management / analysis tasks. We believe in end-to-end ownership; this role will involve taking and building systems that enable us to deliver ML models to production at a scale. What You’ll need to Succeed: Bachelor’s degree in computer science /information systems/engineering/related field 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a minimum of 4+ years in MLExpert in SQL, Python3, and JVM based programming language – ie, Java or Scala Expert in software design/design patterns, functional programming and object-oriented programming. Analytical problem-solving capabilities & experience. A strong engineering driven mindset will be required to succeed in this role.
