Plan, direct, lead and organise the activities of the projects department to ensure that budgets and R&A plans are met through the optimisation and efficient utilisation of available manpower and working hours and that staff are motivated to realise potential and make significant contributions. Direct and manage the activities of Head of Sections, Project Engineers, Project Support in the planning, scheduling, design quality and execution of projects. Support the Sr. Management with the execution of all aspects of the project including managing the staff, providing vision and strategic leadership, providing, and contributing to the 5-years capital plan, monitoring and control of project schedules and budgets, evaluating project productivity and quality and directing the complete technical operations of the project. Providing recurrent projects executive summary reporting. Monitor project’s balance score cards to meet objectives and expectations. Participate on the performance management meetings. Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organization structure for the department that will be utilise human capital on the current and forecasted workload to meet the business objectives. Ensure that the relevant disciplines / trades follow valid standards, technical requirements, and good engineering practices to ensure that projects are executed in line with agreed specifications. Approve and maintain modern and good standards on engineering practices in the department. Ensure that the MOC process is followed into the projects, prior to changes taking place. This as part of the governance. Ensure RCA on projects is implemented for positive and gaps and to capture as lessons learnt projects life cycle, and their implementation in future projects. Develop QAFCO’s project management methodology, tools, templates, forms, procedures & guidelines to ensure consistent evaluation and implementation of projects. Actively contribute to balance the project portfolio on short- and long-term regarding contribution to profitability, safety, health, environment, and product quality, according to QAFCO’s goals and objectives. Liaise closely with other departments/sections within QAFCO concerning project planning and execution. Monitor and approve project planning and strategy baselines and updates/changes prior to approach respective committees related. Ensure proper interfacing during entire project life cycle with application of the QAFCO’s project management methodology. Guide and provide direction for potential problem areas, technical information, staffing priorities and identify solutions where necessary. Lead by example, as a role model with innovation and differentiation, sharing and developing knowledge, competencies, serving as coach and mentors to all projects department members, and functions supporting on project. Responsibilities: • Conduct underwater hull inspections, propeller polishing, sea chest cleaning, anode replacement, and related maintenance tasks during vessel docking/undocking.• Install and secure underwater support blocks, wedges, and guide pins as per the Docking Plan.• Carry out underwater cutting, welding, and NDT tasks where required using approved underwater tools and techniques.• Perform salvage, lifting, and underwater recovery operations using rigging, cranes, and winches.• Operate and maintain underwater video and communication equipment to document and support technical evaluations.• Prepare technical dive reports and photographic documentation for marine engineers and surveyors.• Assist Dockmaster during vessel movement, block positioning, and underwater checks.• Provide fire watch and emergency response support when not assigned diving duties.<br>Requirements1. Education & Professional Qualification:• International commercial diving certifications (IMCA are Mandatory)• Training in firefighting and first aid.<br>2. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoys working with different installation techniques, and is comfortable handling projects from production through final installation.<br><br>If you have experience with vinyl applications, 3D letters, cladding, large-format graphics, and on-site installations, we'd love to hear from you.<br><br>Key Responsibilities <br><br>Manufacture, assemble, and install various types of indoor and outdoor signage. Prepare substrates and surfaces for vinyl application and graphics installation. Apply vinyl graphics accurately according to production specifications. Mount and laminate printed graphics while maintaining quality standards. Install signage including:ACP/Aluminium Cladding3D Channel Letters Acrylic & Metal Letters Large Vinyl Graphics Banners Post & Panel Signs Wayfinding & Directional Signage Concrete Bases and Sign Frames Operate power tools and installation equipment safely and efficiently. Read production drawings and installation instructions. Conduct quality checks before and after installation. Coordinate with production and project teams to ensure timely project completion. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. Follow workplace safety standards during fabrication and installation.<br>Required Skills<br><br>4–10 years of experience in the signage production and installation industry. Strong experience in indoor and outdoor signage installation. Hands-on knowledge of vinyl application, lamination, and graphic mounting. Experience working with ACP cladding, channel letters, sign fabrication, and structural installations. Skilled in using power tools and installation fixings. Ability to read measurements, drawings, and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Comfortable working at heights and performing physical lifting when required. Willingness to travel for project installations when needed. Good English communication and reading skills.
