The Maintenance Engineer leverages deep understanding of maintenance strategies in-order to contribute to day-to-day operational maintenance expertise and leadership and supports the Head of Maintenance in monitoring and implementing the strategies for managing the shipyards assets throughout their lifecycle. All works is executed to a high quality & auditable standard that is consistent with the companies integrated management systems and policies. As an officer, a high level of trade skill and experience is demanded and is expected to be demonstrably applied to technical problems and monitoring of trades employees.<br>Key Accountabilities:1) Develop a deep understanding of the yard specific maintenance strategy and supports the Head of Maintenance in breaking down the strategy into short to medium time horizon work plans and tactics. Job Description<br><br>The Project Engineer will assist the Package Lead and Project Management team in administering the project management and construction supervision functions across the day-to-day activities on a large project. Job Description<br><br>The Project Engineer will assist the Package Lead and Project Management team in administering the project management and construction supervision functions across the day-to-day activities on a large project. Maintain updated the List of holds.<br>Requirements:<br>Valid MMUP/UPDA First Category Engineer certification/registration.<br>Minimum 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial experience in Qatar/GCC;Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline;Strong relevant Engineering and Project experience;Previous experience working on major projects in Qatar is highly preferred;Good knowledge of Qatar Engineering standards, regulations, and Project requirements;Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
