<p><strong>Department</strong> MARINE</p><p><strong>Primary Purpose of the Job</strong> To carry out safe/efficient export of Crude oil from Halul Terminal and provide specialist Marine Support /advise to other QatarEnergy departments and Joint Ventures to achieve their short, medium and long-term business plans. To monitor and control the Marine activities within the QatarEnergy Offshore Fields near Halul and within Halul Harbour ensuring compliance to Offshore Marine Regulations and International Marine Regulations including, but not limited to, the Collision Regulations, MARPOL, ISM codes, ISGOTT and safe working practices.</p><p><strong>Required Experience and Skills</strong> Previous recognized pilotage experience. A sound in depth knowledge of various National and International Maritime Regulations and Legislations. Experience sufficient to acquire a Class I Certificate of Competence (minimum 10 years) together with experience in Oil and gas operations. The Marine field encompasses a multitude of disciplines and therefore experience in other marine operations besides tankers is desirable.
