Experience in financial institutions is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Professional training on the relevant systems.</p></li></ul><p>Required Special Skills :</p><ul><li><p>Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.</p></li><li><p>Self-driven with well-developed leadership and team-building skills.</p></li></ul><p>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities :</p><p>Telecom Infrastructure Management</p><p>Administer, design, and support telecom and collaboration systems, including:</p><ul><li><p>IP Telephony systems</p></li><li><p>PSTN / PRI / SIP telephony lines</p></li><li><p>ADSL lines</p></li><li><p>Voice recording systems</p></li><li><p>Video conferencing systems</p></li><li><p>Structured cabling (internal and external networks)</p></li><li><p>Ensure high availability and optimal performance of telecom systems across all Group locations.</p></li></ul><p>Customer (Internal &amp; External):</p><ul><li><p>Handles efficiently &amp; effectively the bank’s Telecom systems and services that extend to all users</p></li><li><p>Maintains relationships with selected vendors for Telecom hardware &amp; software for proper handling &amp; support of telecom equipment/services</p></li><li><p>Maintains effective relationship with all other related departments &amp; units to achieve the Group’s goals &amp; objectives in Telecom systems availability &amp; monitoring.</p></li></ul><p>Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):</p><ul><li><p>Responsible for the handling &amp; maintenance of Telecom systems &amp; equipment at the Group’s sites</p></li><li><p>Performs on-site &amp; remote technical support of Telecom Systems and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Liaises effectively with Ooredoo regarding Telecom lines &amp; services provided by them</p></li><li><p>Evaluates existing Telecom systems, and proposes possible improvements</p></li><li><p>Handles Telecom projects, and ensures the compliance with requirements &amp; deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Enforces approved Telecom policies</p></li><li><p>Maintains proper documentation of Telecom Systems network</p></li><li><p>Supervises the related Telecom resources &amp; vendors.</p></li></ul><p>Learning &amp; Knowledge:</p><ul><li><p>Maintains a working knowledge of Telecom operation and monitoring systems.</p></li><li><p>Possesses in depth technical knowledge in Telecom systems to ensure reliable service delivery and security and resolve any business disruption or inconvenience to users.</p></li><li><p>Maintains working knowledge of Telecom operating regulations and guidelines along with any other related industry standards.</p></li><li><p>Identifies areas for professional self development</p></li></ul><p>Other:</p><ul><li><p>Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard business-sensitive information.</p></li></ul><p>Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Candidate must be locally available in Qatar</p><p></p></section>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li>Source steel products and trading opportunities globally, leveraging market intelligence and supplier relationships to secure advantageous deals.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with steel suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and favorable commercial conditions.</li><li>Manage the procurement process from RFQ to delivery, ensuring timely order placement, tracking, and resolution of any supply chain issues.</li><li>Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in steel trading.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring a reliable supply of steel products.</li><li>Conduct due diligence on suppliers, assessing their financial stability, quality standards, and adherence to ethical sourcing practices.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, operations, and finance, to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.</li><li>Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, including cost analysis, performance metrics, and market insights.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock management and minimize carrying costs.</li><li>Stay abreast of industry regulations, trade policies, and import/export requirements related to steel trading.</li></ul><br></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.</li><li>Possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach.</li><li>Demonstrates adaptability, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong work ethic.</li><li>Exhibits a strong understanding of financial principles, including cost analysis, budgeting, and risk management.</li><li>Demonstrates excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.</li><li>Possesses strong technical skills, including proficiency in ERP systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Exhibits fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to key sourcing regions, is beneficial.</li><li>Demonstrates experience in the steel industry, including knowledge of different steel grades, applications, and market dynamics.</li><li>Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in steel procurement or trading, with a proven track record of successful negotiations.</li><li>Holds relevant certifications such as CPSM or CPM, demonstrating a commitment to professional development in procurement.</li></ul><br><p></p></section>
