Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this role acts as the primary authority on HSE and worker welfare, driving full compliance with Qatar Ministry of Labour (MOL) directives and legal frameworks.<br><br>This position requires an independent, mature leader who operates with minimal supervision to establish cross-vertical governance across Supply/Fleet operations. The HSE Manager will lead regulatory reporting, conduct risk assessments, manage rider welfare and accommodation standards, and drive continuous safety improvements.<br><br><strong> What You’ll Get Your Hands On<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strategic Governance &amp; Cross-Vertical Oversight</li><li>Establish and enforce HSE governance standards across Supply/Fleet operations.</li><li>Serve as the functional lead for all health, safety, and welfare policies, ensuring full alignment with Qatar Labour Law and Ministry of Labour (MOL) regulations.</li><li>Develop scalable safety strategies, policies, and SOPs that mitigate operational and legal risks across all business verticals.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance &amp; Government Relations</li><li>Act as the primary HR/HSE liaison for the Ministry of Labour (MOL) and relevant government authorities in Qatar.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration of worker welfare, accommodation standards, and health regulations into HR compliance reporting.</li><li>Lead official audits, inspections, and formal regulatory filings.</li><li>Worker Welfare &amp; Accommodation Management</li><li>Oversee regular inspections and audit programs for rider accommodations, ensuring compliance with Qatar Labour Law standards, sanitation, fire safety, and hygiene regulations.</li><li>Establish actionable follow-up systems to resolve accommodation deficiencies swiftly.</li><li>Drive proactive rider wellbeing, heat stress prevention, and living condition improvement initiatives.</li><li>Incident Investigation, Risk Mitigation &amp; Analytics</li><li>Lead investigations into major operational incidents, workplace accidents, and safety breaches.</li><li>Formulate and track Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans to eliminate recurring hazards.</li><li>Perform comprehensive risk assessments across operational hubs, dark stores, and field activities.</li><li>Report key safety metrics, trend analyses, and compliance risks directly to HR leadership.</li><li>Training, Culture &amp; Team Support</li><li>Design and implement comprehensive HSE induction and continuous training programs (defensive driving, heat stress, emergency response).</li><li>Promote a company-wide safety culture across riders, fleet operators, and facility staff.</li><li>Operate independently to support HR leadership with strategic decision-making and operational execution.<br><br></li></ul><strong>‍♂️ The Magic You Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>Education &amp; Certifications</li><ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Environmental Science, Human Resources, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Mandatory Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or NEBOSH Diploma.</li><li>Preferred Certifications: IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA Certification, First Aid &amp; Fire Safety Trainer, Road Safety Certification.</li></ul><li>Experience</li><ul><li>6+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience, preferably within logistics, last-mile delivery, workforce management, or multi-site operations.</li><li>Proven track record of operating at a Managerial level with strong decision-making autonomy and minimal supervision.</li><li>Mandatory hands-on experience in Qatar dealing directly with Ministry of Labour (MOL) standards, audits, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage large workforce populations and multi-facility accommodations.</li></ul><li>Knowledge, Languages &amp; Skills</li><ul><li>Language: Native or fluent Arabic speaker is mandatory for official communication and representation with the Ministry of Labour and local authorities.</li><li>Deep expertise in Qatar Labour Law, worker welfare policies, and government compliance frameworks.</li><li>Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.</li><li>Proficiency in safety data reporting and presentation tools.<br></li></ul></ul><strong>Inside Snoonu’s Universe<br><br></strong>Snoonu is Qatar’s homegrown Super App, reinventing daily life with blazing-fast delivery, shopping, and more – all in one place. Short Description<br><br>Join an Offshore Support Vessel operating in Qatar as a 3rd Engineer and support the safe operation and maintenance of critical engine room systems. This role is ideal for engineers with offshore DP vessel experience looking to further strengthen their offshore engineering background.<br><br>Function Description<br><br>As a 3rd Engineer, you'll play an important role in keeping the vessel operational and supporting safe offshore activities.<br><br>Execute engine room rounds, inspections, and planned maintenance activities. Notify senior engineers of defects and support troubleshooting of machinery systems. Guarantee reliable operation of engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment through proactive maintenance. Implement maintenance tasks in accordance with company and manufacturer procedures. Nurture a safe working environment by maintaining strong housekeeping and safety standards. Enhance vessel reliability through effective monitoring of fuel, lubrication, and cooling systems. Expand your offshore engineering expertise while supporting DP maintenance activities. Remain an active member of the engineering team, contributing to safe and efficient vessel operations.<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Mandatory Requirements:<br><br>A-III/2 Certificate of Competency. DP Maintenance Certificate (Engine Room). BOSIET. H2S. ERM.<br><br>Preferred Experience<br><br>12 months effective sailing time onboard CSV, DSV, or MPSV vessels.2 months effective sailing time onboard DP2 KPOS vessels.
