<li>Reporting to Head of Construction, the Construction Specialist is responsible for managing the material & preservation activities, including protection of all project materials from preparation stage to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope, budget and schedule.</li>

<li>Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.</li>
<li>Manages and ensures successful execution of Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).</li>
<li>To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the material & preservation to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.</li>
<li>To assess the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance with all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.</li>
<li>To review deviations to LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.</li>
<li>Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.</li>
<li>Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.</li>
<li>To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subjects, MC, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.</li>
<li>To Participate in Risk Assessments, kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.</li>
<li>To participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.</li>

<li>Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering</li>
<li>8 years specific involvement in project execution with previous leading roles in material & preservation works within a contract execution environment in Oil & Gas, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.</li>
<li>Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.</li>
<li>Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.</li>
<li>Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.</li>
<li>Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.</li>
<li>Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.</li>
