<p>Supervise and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project construction including inspections, material submissions and working drawings from contractors, and processing documentation as required. Carry out daily checks on contractor's staff and work carried out during the previous day in order to ensure compliance with prescribed contractual specifications. Handle all aspects of Electrical/Instrument Construction activities including site investigations, site surveys and etc. Supervise and manage installation Earthing and Lightning Protection works. Supervise installation of Lighting and Small Power works. Manage and supervise cable tray installation and Fire Alarm System cable laying and termination works. Co-ordinate pre-commissioning activities and assist during commissioning of facilities. Initiate Mechanical Completion Certificates (MCC), Hand Over Certificate (HOC), Acceptance Certificate (AC), and facilitate the issuance of Project Completion & Discharge Certificates. Witness SAT pre commissioning activities for equipment. Maintain a daily record of progress (daily diary) noting special comments. Reports to supervisor work anomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor personnel and recommend corrective actions. Sign work permits on behalf of Company and to ensure that contractor's compliance with work permits. Participate in development of as-built drawings/documentation. Prepare Punch list for finished work prior to handing over to Company by contractor by paying special attention to all EHV equipment including Quality checks. Works closely with other Company Construction Supervisors (Mech / Elec). Report to Company Senior Construction Supervisor on main issues, events at site, progress reporting, trends and recommendations for improvement. Accountable for supervising contractor's work that is in progress, inspecting work, reporting problems and preventing accidents occurring as a result of negligence, by enforcing Company safety standards on the work site. Liaise and report with the QC Inspector on quality related matters. Liaise with the HSE Supervisor on safety related matters. Inspect construction works and materials in accordance with project quality plans and inspection & test plans (ITPs). Co-ordinate with concerned and End User parties to resolve site issues and refer technical queries to senior construction supervisor and project engineer. Review contractors' construction plans and schedules including method statements and JSAs.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Candidate must possess a Degree from recognized University or Diploma in Instrumentation or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with extensive construction related experience.</p><p>Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution.
