<p>Review and finalize project cost estimates as prepared by the Estimation Engineer in terms of the required material as per bill of quantities (BOQ), amount of work, material/ equipment/ and manpower requirements during the tendering phase including all systems, products and services to client specifications/ requirements.</p><br> <p>Lead in providing all the necessary project clarifications/ information upon project award to the Project Manager as per the project budget; advises the Project Manager on contractual rights, remedies which has been taken into consideration during tendering.</p><br> <p>Lead, manage and direct the Estimation Managers and Managing QS team that will result in winning bids and contracts of the projects.</p><br> <p>Review CCS (Candy) for estimates of work based on take-offs and productivity information prepared by Estimation Manager.</p><br> <p>Review all Tender and Estimating documents including Instruction to Tenderer’s, Contract Conditions, BOQ, Specifications and Tender Drawings.</p><br> <p>Advise the Tender team for further procedure and deploy a particular team for individual tenders.</p><br>

<br><p>Direct and manage the review and update of the scoping and estimating system within the organization to ensure the delivery of an estimating process that meets the requirements set by the organization for the estimating system by producing estimates that are accurate to the degree of accuracy specified and within the time required as well as verifying the data in the estimating system to ensure its validity, accuracy and currency.</p><br> <p>Review of Tender Appraisal with Brief description of Scope of work, Key dates, project details, Commercial and Contract conditions, Insurance requirements, Competition list, etc.</p><br> <p>Guide the Estimation Managers and Managing QS in the preparation and distribution of Subcontractor's "RFQ" letters and update with tender bulletin and addenda.</p><br> <p>Finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidates tender documents for management review and approval.</p><br><br><br><b>Additional Responsibilities 3</b>

The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing and overhauling machinery to company standards.<br>Responsibilities<br>Apply skills and knowledge and ability to ensure target production throughput rate or objectives are safely executed in line with Section Plan, KPIs, Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions Values and IMS system.
