<strong>Primary Purpose of the Job</strong><br><p>Provides specialist technical support to Department’s Divisions for major facilities, e.g. Common Cooling Water System, Desalinated and Potable water networks, Waste Management facilities, Treated water distribution and other facilities and utilities. This includes establishment of Engineering Standards and Technical Guidelines for the Department's facilities and RLC projects incorporating the latest Process, Engineering, Safety and Environmental Technology; troubleshooting technical problems by conducting research involving fundamental engineering principles.</p><br> <br><strong>Required Experience and Skills</strong><br><ul><li>A minimum of 12-15 years varied experience is required in the relevant Engineering discipline. This should include conceptual and facilities design, project design and management, start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning of facilities in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry. This experience should include a minimum of 5 to 8 years in a senior supervisory position on major projects.</li><li>Strong communication, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.</li><li>Computer literate with proven skills in Technical and Simulation packages.</li><li>Strong leadership and motivational skills. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Perform comprehensive Project Planning, Scheduling, Progress monitoring, Progress Verification and reporting activities necessary to achieve the successful execution of the assigned Project(s) from initiation to close-out.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 15 years’ experience in planning of projects in Oil & Gas including large capital and/or portfolio projects with onshore brownfield and greenfield projects including gas processing plants, refineries, onshore pipelines, etc. Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience in National Oil Companies and/or International Oil Companies. Experience in EPC project lifecycle, encompassing engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning planning, including system-wise handover strategies Experience in developing and managing shutdown schedules covering the full cycle: pre-shutdown preparation, shutdown execution and post-shutdown activities. Experience includes project planning, scheduling & phasing, project control & monitoring, forecasting, trending, risk assessment, variations/claims analysis, progress verification. High level of computer literacy with MS Office and relevant Project Control software including Primavera. Skills in Primavera Risk Analysis and Power BI are preferable. Work experience in the GCC is desirable Well-developed analytical and reporting skills.<br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>B. Sc. or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.
