Ensures team member adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Identifies software necessary to enable Civil Structural group to function effectively. Completed structural analysis and design of on-shore oil and gas processing facilities:Concrete and Structural steel piperacks, storage tanks foundation, Vertical vessels foundations, Horizontal vessels and Heat exchangers foundation and Pipe supports etc. Infrastructures (Electrical Substations, Potable and Foul water pumping stations and water tanks) Buildings (Utility and Non-utility buildings) Ensures recognised onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design engineering are adopted within the discipline. Review designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required. Collaborates with project team in review of project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules. Leads weekly Civil Structural meetings, reviews progress reports and required checking procedures. Initiate, manage and supervise engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget. Organise and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of Civil Structural discipline engineers and designers, within the parameters of a project schedule. Understands and applies the Project Execution Plan (PEP) requirements - make-up and application (including the Engineering Plan). Reviews data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, and recommend actions. Crafts recommendations and reviews final documentation prior to customer approval. Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Establish a list of discipline deliverables. Controls, monitors and progresses these deliverables to an agreed schedule. Reviews final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval. Review similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports. Lead the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.<br>Quality Assurance<br><br>Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. Work with project managers/project engineers to ensure all projects are set up and executed in full compliance with all the requirements of the Worley Project Management Process (WPMP) and General Management System (EMS) using consistent approaches, Work Breakdown Structures, work methodologies and reporting systems. Monitors the closure of all identified risks and opportunities.<br><br>Safety<br><br>Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures. Promoting health, safety and environmental awareness.<br><br>Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training<br><br>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.<br><br>Industry Specific Experience<br><br>Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry . Mechanical Design Engineer<br>JOB SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience in STP, wastewater treatment, sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, plumbing systems, RO systems, piping systems, and mechanical equipment design. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical engineering design, hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, piping design, P&IDs, PFDs, General Arrangement drawings, isometric drawings, technical specifications, equipment datasheets, technical reports, material submittals, shop drawing reviews, contractor technical submissions, and multidisciplinary project coordination.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead mechanical engineering design activities for STP, wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, plumbing, RO, pumping station, and industrial projects.• Prepare preliminary and detailed mechanical engineering designs and design concepts.• Perform hydraulic calculations for pumping stations, piping systems, pumps, mechanical equipment, and related systems.• Select, size, and specify pumps, valves, piping, mechanical equipment, and associated systems.• Prepare mechanical equipment datasheets, technical specifications, equipment schedules, and material Manage process engineering project requirements. Manage process engineering services such as:participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures;ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Functional Responsibilities:Data Ingestion and Normalization Pipeline Management: Architect and maintain the ingestion of telemetry from multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments using Bind Plane Forwarders, Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) connectors, and Webhooks. Parser Development: Design, build, and troubleshoot custom parsers (CBN) to ensure non-standard log sources are correctly normalized into the Unified Data Model (UDM).
