<p>The Procurement Coordinator will work closely with the BSL Head Office Team and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational procurement activities as per the needs of the organisation, ensuring purchases are made in a timely, cost-effective and compliant manner. The role will manage day-to-day tasks without constant supervision within a clearly governed process framework developing the core procurement knowledge, supplier relationships, and process expertise needed for further career development within the procurement function. This will include: Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of the company s supplier management review and reporting process, as guided by the Procurement Lead. Assisting in building and maintaining positive working relationships with local Qatari and regional subcontractors. Ensuring adherence to the company s governance, processes, and procedures at all times. Duties and responsibilities Support procurement activities for operational requirements, including issuing RFQs/RFPs and raising POs under the general guidance of the Procurement Lead. Procurement documentation is complete, accurate and maintained in good order at all times. Approved supplier list and due diligence records are kept current, complete and compliant with onboarding requirements. Internal queries and supplier related discrepancies are addressed or escalated within agreed response times. Positive, sustained working relationships with local Qatari suppliers evidenced by supplier feedback and continuity of the supply base. Issues, discrepancies or non-compliance are brought to the Procurement Lead s attention promptly and clearly with follow-through until resolved. processes, and procedures at all times.</span><br></span></li></ul><b><i><u>Duties and responsibilities </u></i></b><br><br><ul><li><span><span>Support procurement activities for
operational requirements, including issuing RFQs/RFPs and raising POs under the
general guidance of the Procurement Lead.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Follow procurement processes and governance
in accordance with the procurement manual at all times.</span></span><br></li><li><span><span>Liaise with internal stakeholders to
clarify requirements and with suppliers to ensure timely, accurate delivery,
resolving day-to-day discrepancies directly and escalating where needed.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Assist in supplier evaluation, onboarding,
and maintenance of the approved supplier list/database, including conducting
due diligence checks on new suppliers prior to onboarding.</span></span><br></li><li><span><span>Support the Procurement Lead in the tender
process and in supplier evaluation, onboarding, and database maintenance.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Coordinate with finance on invoice or payment
queries linked to POs and escalate issues or non-compliance promptly</span></span><br></li><li><span><span>Effectively use BSL procurement system to
process transactions, while identifying and flagging opportunities for system
or process improvement.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Carry out other transactional procurement
duties as instructed, building the experience and judgment needed for greater
responsibility within procurement over time. </span><br></span></li><li><span><span><span>Work flexibly as part of the team, supporting

are issued within agreed timeframes and free from material errors as measured

adherence to the procurement manual and governance framework with no material
non-compliance findings in internal reviews or audits.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Procurement
documentation is complete, accurate and maintained in good order at all times.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Approved
supplier list and due diligence records are kept current, complete and
compliant with onboarding requirements.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Internal
queries and supplier related discrepancies are addressed or escalated within
agreed response times.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Positive,
sustained working relationships with local Qatari suppliers evidenced by
supplier feedback and continuity of the supply base.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Issues,
discrepancies or non-compliance are brought to the Procurement Lead's attention

efficiencies are raised and where adopted, contribute to measurable gains.</span><br></span></li></ul><br><span>Requirements</span><ul><li><span><span>A minimum of two years’ experience in a
procurement or purchasing</span><span> role.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Knowledge of the
applicable Qatar laws and regulations.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Team player with
a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across the functions.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Strong organizational
and motivational skills.</span></span><br></li><li><span><span>Ability to work
under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</span></span><br></li><li><span><span>Competence in
the use of IT, spreadsheets, word processing and database management.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Must be able to
coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic operating environment, working with

Language skills applicable to the Middle East environment would be highly
