We currently have an opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer role. This position is based in Qatar onshore. Duration Two (2) year initial contract with a possibility of extension. Work location Onshore (Ras Laffan/Doha HQ) Key Job Accountabilities Provide expertise and support the QA/QC implementation under Operations Expansion Start-Up department (OES) involving quality of engineering, design, procurement, construction, installation of new equipment and repair, modifications of onshore and offshore facilities, consistent with the Codes, Standards, Specifications and Company Policies and Procedures. Context of the role is to provide technical supports to end user in the field of Material, Metallurgy, Fabrication, Welding, NDT and Auditing. Assessment and judgement on resolving concerns for the planned / unplanned equipment, piping repairs and modifications. Ensuring material quality from procurement stage to final receipt at company facility. Coordinate the activities of QA/QC Inspectors, contract hired engineers/inspectors and NDT Technicians, in compliance with procedure requirements. Conduct metallurgical failure analysis on failed plant or offshore components to establish the cause of failure and recommendations. Provide expertise and support for QA/QC matters related to procurement of materials and equipment. Review purchase requisition for inspection and certification requirements, technical bid evaluation, appointment of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) inspectors and ensuring the inspection of material receiving at warehouse. Analyse and review all critical repair instructions including Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and QA/QC reports that are generated by QA/QC inspectors and engineers, listing alternative testing and inspection methods as applicable for repair or modification. Participate and provide necessary inputs for startup readiness, lessons learnt, Formal Risk Assessment (FRA), Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) from QA/QC perspective. Provide technical input on the Scope of Work (SOW) for maintenance contracts related to repair and modification works, participating in Technical Bid evaluations for the contracts, reviewing all Contractor documents and ensuring compliance to QA/QC requirements. Coordinate and perform technical audits as requested on suppliers’ and contractors’ Quality Management Systems, providing technical evaluation and recommendation, conducting follow up for the observations and corrective actions. Promote quality awareness among OES-Maintenance, Supply Department and Contractors through training, knowledge sharing, and procedure roll out sessions. Plan and ensure timely execution of inspection and certification of Gas Cylinders, Portable Tanks and Lifting Equipment as per QA/QC section KPI. Communicate understanding of policies and procedures for Project and Plant QA/QC, e.g., material receiving inspection and control of welding, assisting in revision or updating of the same including support for various other QA/QC procedures. Provide support to OES’ Operations Readiness Plan (ORP) process, following up on deliverables, meeting milestone target dates and ensuring proper handover/completion as per Company policy and procedure. Job Description Executive Assistant is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to Chief of SBU. The role holder must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team, ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action. JOB TITLE: Project Manager Role Purpose: Under the direction of the Facility and Support Services (F&SS) Director provide oversight to all hospital facility projects. This includes planning, organizing manpower for project activities, implementation, project control, and evaluation. Lead projects as needed for Hospital Operations and collaborate with other departments as instructed by the F&SS Director. Responsible for managing the processes and procedures that form the facility project program for the hospital. Responsible for the Hospital engineering equipment management and inventory.Job Responsibilities: - (Including but not limited to): Plan and deliver project activities related to engineering scope of work. Manage projects by determining project specifications, design, end user requirements, and performance standards. Monitor on-going activities, review the project schedule, and revise the schedule as required. Organize and arrange all manpower with appropriate skills necessary to carry out all project activities. Manage project contractors according to the established policies and practices of the Hospital and the parent company policies. Manages and assigns tasks to engineering staff and contractors. Scheduling equipment periodic preventative maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance on hospital engineering equipment. Manage equipment Service Contracts, warranty compliance and department SLA s. Develop, review and amend policies and procedures for the Hospital engineering section. Prepare technical specifications, tender review, and evaluation for the purchase of new engineering equipment and projects. Commissioning and installation of newly purchased hospital engineering equipment. Develop annual budgets: operating, capital, and manpower for the section. Liaise with finance to finalize annual budgets. Produces weekly, monthly, and annual reports for F&SS Director. Assume or accept any other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor within the position role and responsibility.Desired Candidate ProfileJob Specific Skills: - Bachelor s Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & or any other related field. Master s degree is preferable. Certification in Facility Management or Project Management is ideal. Minimum experience of 6 to 8 years, in which 2-3 years should be in a similar position /responsibility, preferably in a similar industry. Demonstrated managerial, supervisory, budgetary and estimation skills for project activities and implementation. Knowledge of equipment procurement processes including specification writing and tender analysis. Knowledge and experience in the management of a Hospital Regulation and Equipment service to an international standard. Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders. Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms. Professionally groomed to project a positive image. Desire to embrace a culture of excellence, collaboration, and communication. High proficiency in English language is mandatory. Our engineering teams are at the intersection of business analytics, ml engineering, data warehousing and software engineering. Our job involves dealing with distributed systems, stream processing, ml modeling and computation at tens of PB Scale. We focus on software engineering related to data replication, storage, centralized computation, and Data API’s. By providing our users with ML products/tools, shared frameworks, and ML services, we enable our company to validate strategic decisions, make smarter choices, and react to the fast-changing world. We are a small but passionate team with people from different nationalities working together on a single goal. In this Role, you will get to: Lead the team technically in improving scalability, stability, accuracy, speed and efficiency of our existing ML systems and processes. Build, administer and scale ML processing pipelines. Be comfortable navigating the following technology stack: Python3, Scala Spark, scripting (Bash/Python), Hadoop, SQL, S3 etc. Should be able to understand internals of ML models such as Light GBM, Random Forest, CNN, Regression models, etc Design, build, test and deploy new libraries, frameworks or full systems for our core systems while keeping to the highest standards of testing and code quality. Work with experienced engineers and product owners to identify and build tools to automate many large-scale data management / analysis tasks. We believe in end-to-end ownership; this role will involve taking and building systems that enable us to deliver ML models to production at a scale. Deliver consistently exceptional, friendly, and engaging service to all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels Process room reservation requests accurately and efficiently, entering guest information and rooming lists into the Property Management System (PMS) Maximize revenue potential through strategic upselling of room categories, packages, and property amenities while maintaining guest satisfaction Provide comprehensive information about property facilities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with their stay planning Address special requests and guest preferences with empathy and creativity, ensuring personalized experiences Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest information across all distribution channels and reservation systems Analyze booking patterns and market trends to support revenue optimization strategies Collaborate with front office, housekeeping, and management teams to ensure seamless guest transitions and operational efficiency Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction Update and manage reservation systems in real-time, ensuring data integrity and preventing overbooking Develop knowledge of regional and local market dynamics, competitors, and destination events to provide informed recommendationsDesired Candidate Profile<h3>Required Skills and Experience:</h3><ul><li>Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Revenue Management Systems (RMS)</li><li>Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and multiple distribution channels</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>Demonstrated customer service excellence with a guest-focused mindset</li><li>Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple reservations simultaneously</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry</li><li>Solid understanding of hotel operations and reservation procedures</li><li>Ability to work flexibly, including potential shift work and weekend availability</li><li>Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest requests and concerns professionally</li><li>Sales and upselling ability with a goal-oriented approach</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills and Experience:</h3><ul><li>Previous experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar hospitality role</li><li>Familiarity with regional and local market dynamics in the Middle East</li><li>Knowledge of local competitors and destination events in Qatar</li><li>Experience with multiple reservation platforms and booking channels</li><li>Multilingual capabilities (Arabic language skills are a plus)</li><li>Hospitality or customer service certification or training</li><li>Experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment</li><li>Familiarity with revenue management principles and practices</li></ul>
