Job Purpose Summary The incumbent has full ownership and accountability for the achievement of the overall International Islamic Banking targets (assets, liabilities and profits). Essential Duties & Responsibilities By Dimensions Shareholder & Financial: Implements KPI’s and best practices for incumbent position. review QNB International Islamic Banking strategic and business development plans and subsequently implement the approved strategy/ plan to facilitate achievement of related short- and long-term business goals internationally in the most effective and efficient manner. Oversee the development and subsequent implementation of annual business plans by the Islamic Banking segments in International Banking to ensure achievement of pre-set targets/ objectives, including business growth and expansion. Oversee the target budgets (deposits, financing deals, profits, expenses…etc) for Islamic Banking business lines, in accordance with the Group’s overall budget and strategy, and continually monitor the same in conjunction with Islamic function in the branch/subsidiary. Facilitate the development and subsequent implementation of Islamic Banking best practices across all activities/operations comprising QNB International to promote efficiencies in work processes, ultimately resulting in increased customer satisfaction. Demonstrate clear understanding of the important factors behind the bank's financial & non-financial performance. Oversee the roll-out of Sharia compliant products Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent and delegate authority pertaining to operational and financial matters to the respective country with sharia compliant offering. Ensure efficient/ optimum use of available resources through partnering arrangements within the group Monitor/ review Islamic portfolio by business segment on overall basis and by product, nationality/ business profile, employer/ industry and other parameters on periodic basis to gauge the quality and performance of the same. This leadership position is responsible for supporting and advancing the strategic vision and academic leadership of the College. This leadership position is integral to the effective planning, organization, and management of the College’s diverse academic programs and initiatives. This position actively collaborates with faculty, administrative staff, and other stakeholders to foster a dynamic educational environment that promotes excellence in teaching, research, and service. Candidates must demonstrate experience within internationally recognized higher education institutions and possess a strong understanding of global academic standards and accreditation frameworks. Experience working within culturally diverse environments is highly desirable. The incumbent will actively contribute to the development and implementation of the College’s business plan, aligning it with UDST’s overarching strategy through various initiatives and projects. His/her leadership will be pivotal in driving the College's development and implementation of education strategies, operational procedures, and guidelines aimed at achieving excellence in teaching and learning, research and community service. Additionally, he/she will lead policy development initiatives for the College, ensuring that its operations, services, and policies are in line with UDST’s mission and vision. Qualifications Qualifications Earned PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accredited institution and should demonstrate evidence of scholarly, professional, and creative achievement sufficient to qualify at the rank of full Professor. Experience Academic Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of a fulltime academic experience in an internationally recognized institution, with a record of successful participation/leadership in applied research projects. Industry Experience Minimum of three (3) years of employment experience as a professional within the relevant discipline. Preferred Experience Strong knowledge of and substantial experience with the development, delivery, evaluation and program accreditation of university programs.
