The Biology Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging biology lessons aligned with the curriculum, using a variety of instructional strategies to support different learning styles. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback. The role involves maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, integrating practical experiments and lab activities, and collaborating with colleagues on academic and extracurricular initiatives. The teacher will also participate in parent communication, school meetings, and professional development activities to support continuous improvement in teaching practice. Qualifications Possess formal teaching credentials as a qualified teacher and demonstrable experience in classroom teaching. Strong subject-matter expertise in Biology, including key concepts in cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human anatomy. Ability to design effective lesson planning that aligns with curriculum standards and supports diverse learner needs. Excellent communication skills to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and interact professionally with parents and school leadership. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Science Education, or a related field; a teaching license or certification is highly preferred. Experience working in international or multicultural school settings is an advantage. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
