Job Description<br><br>Job Purpose:<br><br>To manage and oversee the preservation of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment during project execution. The role ensures equipment integrity is maintained through effective preservation practices, monitoring, and documentation, supporting a safe and successful project handover.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Preservation Execution<br><br>Implement and manage the Project Preservation Plan for static and rotating equipment, piping systems, electrical & Instrumentation components, capital spares & special tools.<br><br>System Management<br><br>Maintain and track equipment logs in a Preservation Management System (PMS) (such as Hexagon, Win PCS, or similar).<br><br>Defect Reporting<br><br>Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature) and report any deterioration or anomalies to the warehouse and site managers.<br><br>Activities<br><br>Monitor Mechanical and EIT, Capital Spare and Special Tools equipment’s storage (short / long term) and perform necessary preservations Ensure the Preservation related activities are prepared and tracked using system Preservation record sheet and preservation history and records are made available at any time until the equipment is formally transferred. Ensure Preservation has been performed correctly and formally recorded into database system. Ensure tools and equipment’s are adequate to achieve expected level of preservation requirements. Deep understanding of preservation techniques (e.g., Vapour Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI), nitrogen blanketing, protective coatings) and interpretation of material datasheets, good knowledge on Various Preservation practices, Risk & Hazards associated and mitigation measures. Good leadership skills and good communication skills. Good reporting skills. Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment. Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications. Mandatory language is English.

Carry out the signwriting works in the fabrication, painting and designing of signs as per the work instructions & directive of the Supervisor to meet clients and yard's requirements for a timely delivery if projects. Perform job-related activities such as constructing and fabricating signs, designing of signs according to necessary size and letter specification as per the approved drawing, installation of signs in a variety of locations, painting of signs, selecting materials to use for the construction of signs, working in different materials ranging, paints and finishes in line with defined standard operating procedures and quality standards. Maintain housekeeping of workplace to required standards. Ensure appropriate use of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear and breakdowns. Prevent wastage of materials and consumables and report any malfunction of tools and machinery to immediate supervisor Takes initiative to pursue self-development through on-job-training/education. Perform quality inspections, verifications, monitoring, and control of quality control activities associated with blasting / painting activities to ensure adherence to quality standards as outlined in the project specifications, tender documents, work instructions, procedures, and relevant manuals. Oversee and execute Quality Control Inspection activities specifically for blasting and painting operations, ensuring adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards and procedures. Monitor project progress and promptly report any issues or delays to the Supervisor to facilitate timely resolutions. Ensure strict compliance with inspection and test procedures applicable to assigned projects, maintaining the highest quality standards. Conduct both in-process and Final inspections of painting activities to prevent rework and guarantee quality outcomes. Advise stopping work and initiate immediate rectification measures in instances of direct non-compliance with quality standards. Coordinate with superintendents, class surveyors, paint representatives and other third-party inspectors for timely execution of coating inspections. Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and quality requirements are strictly followed throughout the operation. Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality control activities to support compliance and continuous improvement. Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and knowledge regarding quality control standards and practices.<br>Qualifications:Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Nace 1 / Frosio certification. The role will work closely with the relevant project team and with minimal supervision will be responsible for independently applying cost control procedures, best practices and cost analysis on the assigned project<br>Tasks and Responsibilities Setup Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in line with the approved / as-awarded project scope and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Ensure accurate allocation of project budget and provide control budgets for equipment and material purchase orders, subcontracts, fabrication, fabrication management team and support disciplines. Assist in setting up project specific cost control system based on company internal requirements and project (PMT) requirements. Including but not limited to cost databases and reporting templates/mechanism. Evaluate and analyze cost reports, detect issues and effectively communicate the project’s cost performance, risks and opportunities, issues and concerns to project management team on a regular and agreed periodic basis. Job Title: MEP CAD Operator Job Location: Ras Laffan Industry: Oil & Gas Contract: 1 Month Extendable<br>Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced MEP CAD Operator with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to prepare, modify, and maintain accurate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings for Oil & Gas projects. The role involves producing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings while ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong Auto CAD skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.<br>Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP CAD Operator. Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory. Experience on Qatar Energy, Ras Laffan, or other major Oil & Gas projects is preferred. Education:Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline. Technical Skills:Proficiency in Auto CAD (Mandatory).
