<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> , Qatar Job Family Group: Technical Support Jobs Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: September 10, 2026 Business Unit: Integrated Gas Experience Level: Early Careers Job Description: What’s the role The Rotating Equipment Technician is part of the Central Maintenance Team and is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with the AMS ME Process for the Pearl GTL Complex. The person in this role will be responsible for maintaining critical rotating equipment according to approved maintenance strategies, procedures, and work instructions. This ensures the availability and integrity of Rotating equipment and systems, in alignment with the company's requirements. What you’ll be doing The Rotating Equipment Technician role is crucial to the Pearl GTL Asset organization, ensuring that Central Maintenance delivers according to plan. Compliance with the company's Code of Conduct, procedures, and Permit to Work are mandatory requirements. Key responsibilities include executing maintenance jobs on time, safely, and with high quality while driving continuous improvement. Accountabilities also include: <ul><li>Diagnose and resolve complex issues, non-compliance, and overhaul large and small rotating equipment; troubleshoot and maintain dry gas seals & wet Seals, white metal bearings, and mechanical transmission assemblies. </li><li>Perform cold/hot alignment on-site; inspect gas turbines (CI/HGPI/Major) and steam turbines (Minor/Major); commission and test rotating equipment; check shafts, stator/rotor, and bearing clearances. </li><li>Establish job plans, cost estimates, and durations; compile maintenance and integrity activity plans; identify spare parts requirements and update re-order quantities; manage contract services. </li><li>Specify controls for engineering hazards; modify plant systems per approved change requests; interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and standards; apply correct tools and precision measuring instruments. </li><li>Maintain air systems, hydraulic components, and apply proper lubrication types and methods. </li></ul>What you bring We look forward to speaking with candidates who have: <ul><li>Technical education in an engineering discipline to at least Diploma level or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum 8 years to 12 years of proven experience in the Oil/Gas/Petrochemical industry, specifically in the maintenance of large rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, engines, and generators. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge and skill in safety-critical activities. </li><li>Knowledge of using handheld and online equipment condition monitoring systems. </li><li>Knowledge of using vibration analysers and interpreting records. </li><li>Understand rotating equipment international standards and DEPs. </li><li>Knowledge of machining operations in workshop machine tools. </li><li>Knowledge of dynamic balancing of rotating equipment. </li></ul>What we offer You bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented, committed people on one of the most important challenges. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> The Project Engineer is the hands-on delivery lead for internally managed projects across Place Vendome. The role converts operational needs into defined scopes, coordinated designs, executable work programmes and completed works, with particular emphasis on live-site investigation, stakeholder coordination, field supervision, change control and close-out. The initial focus will include major external traffic-flow, access, parking and internal vehicle-routing initiatives, together with associated wayfinding and signage reorganization. AutoCAD production and stewardship of the Place Vendome (PVQ) drawing archive are essential supporting duties, while the primary accountability remains successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. Job Description The Engineer - IT Support is responsible for acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IT-related incidents and service requests raised by end users. The role involves receiving requests through multiple communication channels, logging and classifying tickets in the ITSM system, providing first-level remote support, and ensuring timely resolution or escalation in accordance with SLAs, SOPs, and ITIL best practices. Job Summary The Proposal Manager (Mechanical) is responsible for leading and managing the complete proposal and tendering process, ensuring the development of high-quality, competitive, and compliant submissions. The role requires strong expertise in mechanical engineering, cost estimation, tender management, and proposal development, with the ability to lead teams and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of proposal strategies aligned with company objectives and client requirements. Manage the complete proposal lifecycle, including tender review, planning, coordination, preparation, submission, and post-tender evaluation. Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements to ensure accurate and compliant submissions. Coordinate with engineering, estimation, commercial, and project teams to collect and integrate technical and commercial inputs.
