Responsibilities Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask. Acts as the Company representative with the customer and selected suppliers during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the customer. Assists business development in understanding customer issues and business plans in order to market and secure new/additional work. Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the program, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria. Assigns responsibility to executing project plans for key subordinates and assesses how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates. Promotes technical excellence as well as the improvement of the Quality Improvement Process. Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work. Works with individual lead discipline engineer to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule. Works with individual lead discipline to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the customer and Company management of any such changes. Oversees establishment of Work Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan and other documents for hazardous waste work. May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of customers. Effectively manage project interfaces, including use of High Value Engineering centres Time Management Manage the planning of all scope elements of the project. Develop resource & financial requirements from the project plan. Manage the design, procurement and construction activities to meet the project schedule. Monitor the key reports and the development of corrective action plans. Ensure timely and effective documentation turnover and project close-out. Cost Control Ensure that all estimates which are prepared for the project are accurate project estimates. Ensure that all proper and accurate cost reports are provided for control of the project. Monitor and control all cost aspects of the project to forecast costs, obtain approvals, identify trends and take action to avoid cost overruns and take advantage of opportunities. Quality Management Ensure the project quality requirements are properly defined and fully implemented. Ensure the right systems are in place and that these are applied on the project. Ensure compliance with Worley Parsons policies and procedures. Implement as part of the project a lessons learned program on the project consistent with WP requirements. Team Management Define roles and responsibilities and provide clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit that vision Communications Management Ensure effective communications with the project team. Document communication requirements. Ensure accurate, timely & effective progress reporting to the Customer and internally to Worley Parsons management. Ensure ongoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the customer and third parties and introduction of changes where required. Risk Management Identify project risks and opportunities. Monitor closure of all identified risks and opportunities. Maintain the risk management focus throughout the project duration Design Management Set clear objectives for the design team. Ensure design team are aware of, and are complying with, customer's Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes. Monitor design activities, inter-discipline data flow and communications Procurement/Subcontracts Management Set clear objectives for the procurement and subcontracts team. Assess procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification and are delivered on time and are within budget. Construction Management Set clear objectives for the Construction team. Monitor the Construction Management function to ensure safe delivery of the project within cost and schedule objectives Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage. Industry Specific Experience Prior experience must include significant project experience and successful project management. Vast relevant experience in a supervisory and/or project management role including technical expertise. Mandatory experience in FEED and Detail Design for large Offshore Brownfield Projects. HSE Capability Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements. Job Purpose Summary The incumbent is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing In-House and Distributed Applications related projects and development team. About The Role As an Account Director, you will be responsible for sourcing, closing and activating enterprise customers, while providing critical product feedback to the Cognition team. You will be a crucial contributor to Cognition’s revenue growth and Devin’s development. You’ll work closely with the whole Cognition team including engineering, product and go-to-market to accelerate the sales cycle and help build one of the fastest-growing AI startups. Successful candidates will have deep experience selling highly technical solutions to businesses, have experience with software engineering and exhibit the drive and grit required to win consistently in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. In This Role, You Will Drive revenue for Cognition, owning the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through close and activation for early stage through enterprise companies Navigate layered customer organizations including working directly with C-suite executives, Tech and AI leaders, procurement and legal stakeholders Develop strategies for sourcing, demoing the product, and closing opportunities with layered buying organizations Deeply understand the customer’s technical pain points and priorities, and qualify the best use cases and teams to deploy Devin to large technology organizations Discover new use cases in our customers’ Tech organizations and overshare customer feedback with our product and engineering teams Focus on results - generate pipeline, revenue, and help build the best technical sales organization to bring Devin to market Requirements For The Role Demonstrate a track record of success selling deeply technical products to enterprise customers You have technical experience - either as a software engineer, sales engineer or forward deployed engineer.
