SR. COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (INSTRUMENTATION) Mandatory Qualification B. Sc. in an Engineering Discipline with extensive experience in commissioning of oil and gas projects. Experience Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of oil & gas processing plants and preferably offshore with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum eight (8) years Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader. Primary Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of facilities in projects in accordance with company procedures and guidelines in place. To define, mobilize and manage an organization which will cover the preparation and the execution of commissioning. To manage the preparation of project specific pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and reporting tools (including technical database when applicable, planning, punch list control). To manage the execution of commissioning to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and achieve smooth hand over. To supervise the reporting of commissioning execution to ensure that all technical, and contractual information is properly recorded, collected and available for inspection/reference as required by regulations and company procedures/policies. Improve company commissioning procedures, initiate and contribute to the commissioning deliverables standardization, develop strategy to minimize offshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces. Develop commissioning strategy and provide input to the project execution plan and early stages of engineering. Responsible for the review and the approval of the various commissioning preparation tasks to be performed by the Contractor: work breakdown structure, priorities, resources, schedule, etc. Review and approve the commissioning management procedures (hand over, checklists, interfaces, punch list, internal organisation, and sign-off certificates). Review and approve the commissioning dossiers prepared by the Contractor (including database populating and operational test procedures writing). Coordinate activities of the company commissioning team (system engineers, discipline supervisors, planning/punch list controller, Asset Holder). Identify and address all interface issues with other project packages with respect to commissioning. Prepare overall commissioning plan and obtain approval for the same in consultation with Asset Holder. Responsible to check and endorse mechanical completion. Responsible for witnessing and monitoring the pre-commissioning activities performed by the Contractor. Countersign all pre-commissioning dossiers at Ready For Commissioning (RFC) status. Control all commissioning activities performed by the Contractor and its reporting. Check progress against planning and recommend any necessary corrective actions, close follow up on punch list with Contractor and Asset Holder. Coordinate with Contractor/Vendors to solve system/equipment performance problems. Review and approve the commissioning dossiers after completion of commissioning activities and sign the Ready for Start Up and hand over certificates. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.4–6 years of experience in Cost Control / Project Controls. EPC experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Industrial, Power, Digital & Infrastructure projects preferred. Job description: Job Purpose Deploy and implement asset-based process safety, loss prevention and risk engineering objectives, providing critical inputs and facilitation to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Deliver appropriate advisory to asset(s) and relevant customers in advancing excellence in process safety and risk engineering, including across associated assets/facilities, brownfield projects and interfacing major capital projects. Key Job Accountabilities - I Execute the deployment and implementation of company process safety, loss prevention and risk management objectives and program in the assigned asset(s). Provide process safety and risk engineering inputs and review for engineering documentations, project deliverables, interface documents to ensure they meet with the relevant standards. Facilitate the hazard identification (HAZID) and risk assessment studies and prepare related reports. Facilitate the implementation of relevant loss prevention engineering procedures in the assigned asset(s). Conduct and support the execution of major safety studies such as quantitative risk assessment (QRA), and manage asset hazard and operability (HAZOP), safety and integrity level (SIL) baseline/revalidation etc., coordinating activities required for the completion of those studies. Work with external consultant to produce quality document as required. Collaborate with Qatar Energy LNG Assets and other functional groups to ensure adequate involvement. Key Job Accountabilities - II Coordinate Safety Case and Barrier Management efforts in the assigned asset(s) to facilitate the identification, implementation, and maintenance of effective safety barriers. Perform safety and technical review of Management of Change requests (MOCs) and consult with assigned engineers and the functional groups to ensure that plant/field integrity and safety is maintained. Monitor and analyse key process safety performance indicator, identifying trends and providing insights in process safety performance, collaborating with Operations and other relevant departments to initiate corrective actions. Provide the required support for the administration, implementation, and sustainability of L3 Manage Operations Risk (MOR) Process and L3 Ensure Process Safety across Qatar Energy LNG in their respective assets. The role will also support clients migrating from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 and will involve ownership of workflow design through production support. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, integration teams, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable process automation solutions. Job Summary The Lead Structural Engineer is responsible for structural and foundation design, technical analysis, and /or resolution of engineering problems, and also supervises the documentation of the structural drawings in coordination with the architectural and MEP works. Job Responsibilities 1Lead the structural design process, overseeing the development of design concepts, calculations, and detailed drawings for various building projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to structural engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements seamlessly into overall project designs. Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate the performance and stability of building structures under various loading conditions. Review and approve structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies Job Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of STAAD Software Extensive structural knowledge for Buildings, Heavy Civils and Infrastructure works Knowledge in preparing reports, designs and drawings Good level of previous facade engineering design experience including analysis of structures and detaileddesign of elements in all major materials. Knowledge of Project Management Practical knowledge and ability in Structural Engineering design and construction. Job Summary The Lead Mechanical Engineer is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in mechanical engineering to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role involves leading a team of mechanical engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and spearheading the design and development of mechanical systems. Job Responsibilities 1Provide technical support in respect to mechanical engineering discipline activities for potential investments, and determine the different phases, scope, budget, quality, and time. Provide technical inputs in his experience to all HQ and site organization in accordance with the terms of the contract and advise taking of all measures necessary for the performance of the works. Be authorized to represent in dealing of all mechanical engineering discipline activities with the client and third parties, making statements and representations in connection with negotiations with the client. Provide technical, operational, and managerial leadership for successful development and implementation of the investment. Oversee all implementation of investments that are in line with the original plans and forecasts related to mechanical engineering discipline activities. Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives. Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. Manage the key stakeholder’s communication and requirements mainly the client, Joint Venture members (if any) and leading entities for mechanical engineering discipline matters. Support that investment mechanical engineering discipline activities operate within the policies and procedures and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards. Accountable on investment budget and baseline development for technical inputs. Contribute to decision making cycle through preparing consolidated reports and address any specific challenges, risks, and mitigations about mechanical engineering discipline matters. Review and approve all mechanical design activities of the investments. Managing risks of all investments related to mechanical engineering discipline matters to avoid delays or reputational damage.
