Job Summary:The Factory/Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire marble factory production process and material management, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, timely delivery, and compliance with safety and operational standards. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and controlling production operations to meet company targets while optimizing resources and reducing costs.<br>Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Operations Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily and weekly production activities. Ensure timely execution of cutting, polishing, edging, fabrication, and finishing processes. Monitor production output to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements. Optimize machinery utilization and minimize production downtime. Selection of material that is suitable and in sufficient quantity that can cover the project needs.2. Quality Control Implement and monitor quality standards for marble slabs, tiles, and customized items. Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet company and client specifications. Take corrective actions on defects, rework, and non-conformance issues.3. Team Management Supervise and lead production supervisors, machine operators, technicians, and labor workforce. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper training for staff. Promote teamwork, discipline, and safety practices across the production floor.4. Machinery & Maintenance Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for cutting machines, polishing lines, CNC machines, and other equipment. Ensure maximum machine efficiency and minimize breakdowns. Work with the maintenance team to schedule servicing and repair tasks.5. Inventory & Material Management Monitor raw materials, consumables, and tools required for production. Ensure accurate stock levels of marble blocks, slabs, adhesives, blades, and other items.
