<p>Urgent Hiring – Electrical Technicians</p><p>We are looking for experienced Electrical Technicians for a leading industrial project in Qatar.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><ul><li><strong>High National Diploma Certificate with ITI in Electrical Trade or Diploma in Electrical Engineering</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 5 years of GCC/Qatar</strong> experience as an Electrical Technician</li><li><strong>Mandatory experience in Oil &amp; Gas, Petrochemical, Aluminum Smelters, Power Plants, or other heavy industrial environments</strong></li><li>Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills in industrial electrical systems</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in industrial systems.</li><li>Maintain and repair motors, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and battery banks.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.</li><li>Carry out maintenance activities in compliance with safety procedures and standards.</li><li>Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.</li><li>Prepare maintenance reports and complete relevant documentation.</li><li>Support team members and participate in safety and training programs.</li><li>Experience with overhead cranes and industrial power distribution will be an advantage</li></ul><p>Interested candidates meeting the above criteria may share their updated CVs for consideration.</p><p>Term: 4 months short-term</p><p>Immediate joiners preferred.</p><p>Locally available candidates having a Freelance Visa with a valid QID.</p>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>** PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO QATARI CANDIDATES **</p><br><p>Job Summary and Purpose</p><p>Supervise, Oversee and manage dimensional control survey activities to ensure all structural assemblies and piping spools meet specified dimensions and tolerances. Provide assurance that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces.</p><p>Accountabilities</p><ul><li><p>Develop, plan, and implement dimensional survey programs in accordance with project specifications and schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Review and interpret project drawings, models, and specifications to prepare a comprehensive Dimensional Control / Measurement Plan, identifying intervention points in coordination with the Project Quality Lead.</p></li><li><p>Plan and execute surveying and dimensional verification activities for fabrication, assembly, and installation phases, ensuring all mating interfaces (fabrication, marine, structural, piping, and module connections) are accurately measured and that “best-fit” alignment scenarios are evaluated and established.</p></li><li><p>Ensure strict adherence to the Dimensional Control Inspection &amp; Test Plan (DC ITP) at all stages of project execution, and update the plan to incorporate design revisions or scope changes.</p></li><li><p>Review, validate, and formally approve dimensional control reports, submitting them to the Project Lead or Client Representative as required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain detailed and traceable records of all dimensional inspections, survey data, and control activities in accordance with project and company documentation standards.</p></li><li><p>Manage and track all Dimensional Control (DC) survey requests, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and clear reporting of results.</p></li><li><p>Verify that all surveying instruments and equipment (e.g., Leica, SOKKIA, Topcon) are calibrated, certified, and within validity before use.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all Dimensional Control personnel are working with the latest approved drawings and project specifications (AFC status).</p></li><li><p>Liaise and coordinate with Client Discipline Representatives, production team, Quality Inspectors, and Fabrication Leads to resolve dimensional discrepancies and ensure alignment with project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and mentor Sr./dimensional controllers, providing guidance, training, and technical oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Promote teamwork and effective communication between fabrication, installation, and survey teams to achieve dimensional accuracy and schedule compliance.</p></li><li><p>Employee should prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work Environment.
