JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVEManage and ensure the successful execution of projects. Primary responsibility is to oversee and implement project management processes, including estimation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting to effectively control project progress and resources.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProject Planning & Scheduling Collaborate with project managers, Project engineers and stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, including defining project goals, scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones. Monitor the project for any unforeseen risks and propose corrective actions if necessary. The Joinery Estimator will review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and custom furniture works. Day-to-day tasks include quantifying materials, labor, and fabrication requirements; preparing bills of quantities; and obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations. The role involves preparing clear and competitive pricing proposals, value-engineering options, and bid documentation for tenders and negotiated projects. The Joinery Estimator will coordinate with the design, production, and procurement teams to confirm feasibility, optimize material usage, and ensure estimates align with workshop capabilities and installation methods. The individual in this role will also support project handover, assist in budget tracking, and update cost databases based on actual project performance.<br>Qualifications<br> <br>Strong joinery estimation skills, including reading and interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, preparing bills of quantities, and developing accurate cost breakdowns for custom joinery and furniture. Ability to follow through enquiry from client and help clarify scope to achieve quote accuracy in line with client’s instructions / expectations. Liaise with the line manager and other team members to develop the overall strategy for the tender. Send out enquiries to the supply chain to ensure the best prices are received by selecting the most suitable suppliers / manufacturing location for the project.
