We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate should have strong Auto CAD skills and hands-on experience in mechanical drafting, 3D modeling, and manufacturing drawings. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate 2D mechanical drawings using Auto CAD. Create detailed 3D part, assembly, and fabrication models using Solid Works or equivalent 3D CAD software. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Incorporate machining symbols, tolerances, and surface finish requirements into drawings. Provide Scope of work<br>Preparation of requisitions for quotations, TQs, technical bid evaluation, purchase specifications, and<br>review/approve vendor drawings / documents for valves.<br>Assist inspection department to approve various vendor documents / procedures like pressure test, painting,<br>welding, and packing & preservation etc.<br>Valve selections, analyze materials, trim options and operators, devise solutions to diverse actuator and valve<br>applications based on process, costs, environment & integrity issues.<br>Review/approve datasheet, vendor offer and documentation for valves, piping specialties.<br>Provide timely piping engineering support and troubleshooting assistance to other departments, including<br>giving input to project concepts and engineering review of piping designs.<br>Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines to ensure safe and consistent piping design in compliance<br>with internal guidelines, current international standards and industry practices.<br>Piping component selection work, appraise piping systems and their application to abnormal situations,<br>devise solutions to diverse design, material, environment, cost and integrity issues.<br>Assure pipe supports philosophies and standards understand applicable industry safety and integrity codes,<br>approve and confirm design audits, company operational, safety and reliability practices.<br>Provide technical and administrative support, relating to Valves and PSV's, to the site base operations;<br><br><br>Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).<br>Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.<br>You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication<br>You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.- High School Diploma / Technical certificate in Discipline.<br>- Minimum 10 years recent experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil /gas exploration and/or production industries in a similar role.

Provide assurance that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces.</p><p>Accountabilities</p><ul><li><p>Develop, plan, and implement dimensional survey programs in accordance with project specifications and schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Review and interpret project drawings, models, and specifications to prepare a comprehensive Dimensional Control / Measurement Plan, identifying intervention points in coordination with the Project Quality Lead.</p></li><li><p>Plan and execute surveying and dimensional verification activities for fabrication, assembly, and installation phases, ensuring all mating interfaces (fabrication, marine, structural, piping, and module connections) are accurately measured and that “best-fit” alignment scenarios are evaluated and established.</p></li><li><p>Ensure strict adherence to the Dimensional Control Inspection &amp; Test Plan (DC ITP) at all stages of project execution, and update the plan to incorporate design revisions or scope changes.</p></li><li><p>Review, validate, and formally approve dimensional control reports, submitting them to the Project Lead or Client Representative as required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain detailed and traceable records of all dimensional inspections, survey data, and control activities in accordance with project and company documentation standards.</p></li><li><p>Manage and track all Dimensional Control (DC) survey requests, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and clear reporting of results.</p></li><li><p>Verify that all surveying instruments and equipment (e.g., Leica, SOKKIA, Topcon) are calibrated, certified, and within validity before use.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all Dimensional Control personnel are working with the latest approved drawings and project specifications (AFC status).</p></li><li><p>Liaise and coordinate with Client Discipline Representatives, production team, Quality Inspectors, and Fabrication Leads to resolve dimensional discrepancies and ensure alignment with project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and mentor Sr./dimensional controllers, providing guidance, training, and technical oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Promote teamwork and effective communication between fabrication, installation, and survey teams to achieve dimensional accuracy and schedule compliance.</p></li><li><p>Employee should prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work Environment.
