Communicates any variations to the established norms to the appropriate department in a timely manner. Sends copy of MOD report to all departments on a daily basis. Strives to improve service performance. Ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures. Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.<br><br>Supporting Profitability Goals<br><br> Understands and complies with loss prevention policies and procedures. Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.<br><br>Managing The Guest Experience<br><br> Intervenes in any guest/employee situation as needed to insure the integrity of the property is maintained, guest satisfaction is achieved, and employee well being is preserved. Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service. Provides immediate assistance to guests as requested. Serves as a leader in displaying outstanding hospitality skills. Sets a positive example for guest relations. Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints. Ensures employees understand customer service expectations and parameters. Interacts with customers on a regular basis throughout the property to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction. Participates in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction. Records guest issues in the guest response tracking system.<br><br>Assisting Human Resources Activities<br><br> Participates as needed in the investigation of employee and guest accidents. Observes service behaviors of employees and providing feedback to individuals. Conducts regular inspection tours of the entire facility for appearance, safety, staffing, security, and maintenance. Celebrates successes and publicly recognizes the contributions of team members. Ensures employees are cross-trained to support successfully daily operations. Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPS) and support the Peer Review Process. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE<br>As a Customer Group Manager - Energy, you will be responsible for managing assigned Oil & Gas segment sales in Qatar by promoting Jotun’s products, services, and solutions, applying structured sales tools to drive business development, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve sales targets, gross margin, DSO, and market share objectives. Reporting to Sales manager Protective and Marine Coating.<br>Identify and develop new business opportunities in the local market to grow market share and profitability. Promote and sell assigned product segments within defined territories through regular customer visits, maintaining strong relationships and gathering market insights. Follow up on projects in assigned territories and coordinate with project teams to ensure Jotun products are specified and used to meet sales targets. Handle customer issues by resolving them directly or escalating when needed. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, strong customer service, and alignment with company objectives. Monitor customer collections to ensure payments are received within agreed terms and days outstanding targets are met. Execute sales activities to achieve assigned volume and gross margin targets, contributing to overall profitability. Track market developments in the territory, including demand, trends, economic factors, and competitors, to support market expansion. Direct the preparation and quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, standards, and schedule requirements. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant design output, meeting customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Review and approve engineering execution strategies, project organization structures, and discipline responsibilities. Prepare and implement the Engineering management Plan on projects and ensure discipline schedules/budgets include safety and sustainability activities for the asset lifecycle. Manage technical Value Improvement Practices (VIPs) - technology selection, value engineering, energy optimization, RAM, etc.<br><br>Cross-Discipline Coordination & Interface Management<br><br>Provide overall integration across engineering disciplines, ensuring effective sequencing and interface management. Establish and maintain engineering coordination procedures with internal teams, licensors, contractors, and stakeholders. Oversee and manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and third-party contractors. Ensure structured communication and resolution of technical queries and inter-disciplinary conflicts.<br><br>Technical Governance & Quality Assurance<br><br>Ensure engineering activities comply with Worley standards, international codes, and customer specifications Must ensure maintaining engineering quality assurance processes, including document control, review cycles, and approval timelines. Lead the review and approval of key engineering documents, ensuring compliance with HSSEQ, operability, maintainability, and technical integrity requirements. Must ensure and participate in design reviews, safety studies, and technical assurance activities. Ensure required Technical Peer Reviews (TPRs) are planned, scheduled, and budgeted; proactively engage Location Director of Engineering when needed.<br><br>Project Management & Delivery<br><br>Overall key technical interface with customer management teams. Support the safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of engineering scope across all project phases. Monitor engineering progress against schedule, budget, and deliverable milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans. Provide technical and commercial input to optimize design solutions and manage project risks. Ensure alignment between engineering outputs and project controls (cost, schedule, procurement needs). Maintain engineering registers for assumptions, holds, technical queries, deviations, key document changes, and SEAL decisions.<br><br>HSSEQ & Compliance<br><br>Champion Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality culture within engineering activities. Ensure designs incorporate safe, sustainable, and environmentally compliant solutions. Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks and standards.<br><br>Team Leadership & Capability<br><br>Lead, mentor, and develop multi-location engineering teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and competency. Ensure teams are appropriately staffed and aligned with project requirements. Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and stakeholders. Capture and implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br>Education<br><br>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of Engineering from an accredited University. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.<br><br>Job Specific Knowledge , Experience & Competencies<br><br>Significant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sector projects. Job Description:<br>The Innovation Lab manager at Media City Qatar will lead the strategic vision and operational direction of the Media Innovation Lab, driving a bold agenda spanning research, experimentation, and real-world product development. Position: IT Project Manager - Consultant<br>Job Purpose Summary:The incumbent is primarily responsible for managing, coordinating and monitoring aportfolio of IT projects from initiation to closing and ensure that these projects are deliveredon schedule as per the strategy plan. Role :The AI Product & Use Case Lead is the internal product manager for the AI Hub, owning the full AI use case pipeline from initial ideation through business case development, prioritization, delivery, and post-deployment measurement. This role acts as the critical interface between the business and the AI Hub team, ensuring that every initiative is grounded in genuine business value and is executable given data and technology constraints. A particular focus is placed on agentic self-service products, conversational AI agents, intelligent workflow automation, and AI-assisted customer journeys; which are central to Ooredoo's AI ambitions. Role :The Manager AI Products is the primary builder within the AI Hub, responsible for turning architectural designs and product specifications into working, production-deployed AI systems. This role spans the full technical stack of modern AI engineering: training and fine-tuning ML models, building LLM powered applications, developing agentic workflows, and integrating AI solutions with Ooredoo's enterprise platform ecosystem.
