This senior role requires deep expertise in statistical modelling and machine learning combined with substantial banking and financial services domain knowledge . Analysis & Insights Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and modeling opportunities in banking data. Create data visualizations and reports for stakeholder communication. Prototyping & Delivery Develop working prototypes in Python demonstrating model functionality and business value. You will play a key role in supporting complex tax matters, advising leading businesses in Qatar, and contributing to major national initiatives. As part of our experienced-hire team, you will gain exposure to high-impact projects and develop deep tax technical expertise.</p><br> <p><b>Your key responsibilities&nbsp;</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Provide high-quality tax advisory, compliance, and reporting support to clients across ITTS, IDT, or GCR service lines.</li> <li>Manage day-to-day client engagements, prepare technical deliverables, and assist senior team members with tax analysis and communication.</li> <li>Contribute to project planning, research emerging tax issues, and ensure accurate, timely execution of tax assignments.</li> </ul> <p><b>Skills and attributes for success</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex tax and financial information.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric and collaborative approach.</li> </ul> <p><b>To qualify for the role</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Qatari national with 2+ years of relevant tax experience in ITTS, Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, or Tax Compliance.</li> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or related field.</li> <li>Strong understanding of GCC tax frameworks (corporate tax and/or VAT).</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.</li> <li>Proficiency in English and Arabic.</li> </ul> <p><b>Ideally, you’ll also have</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Progress toward a professional qualification (ADIT, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar).</li> <li>Experience working with multinational clients or on cross-border projects.</li> <li>Good knowledge of ERP systems for tax compliance and reporting.</li> </ul> <p><b>What we offer you</b></p><br> <p>At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
