Native or near-native Urdu proficiency with strong reading and writing skills. Strong grasp of the English language to follow project guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide clear feedback in English.3+ years of professional experience in Urdu writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows. Strong understanding of Urdu grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, cultural context, Nastaliq script conventions, and right-to-left formatting. Comfortable handling Pakistan Urdu, India Urdu, formal/literary Urdu, and conversational usage, depending on project requirements. Ability to evaluate Urdu content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, incorrect register, script/formatting problems, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology. Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred. Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems. Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and other quality documentation. A Snapshot of Your Day<br><br>The Head of Sales, RS2 owns full commercial leadership for the RS2 territory, accountable for order intake, revenue, and margin performance across Qatar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen. The territory contains SD's most strategically significant single account relationship, Qatar Energy, alongside the KSA national operator base — making executive account stewardship as central to the role as commercial target ownership.<br><br>How You’ll Make An Impact<br><br>Own the RS2 order intake and OE targets; hold country and account leads accountable to plan, with early-warning escalation on at-risk deals. Lead recovery and pull-forward pipeline building for FY27, with particular focus on the Qatargas NFB/LTP opportunity and adjacent must-win deals. Maintain pipeline and forecast discipline (CRM hygiene, slip register, major tickets watchlist) in line with SD reporting cadence. Hold and develop multi-level executive relationships within Qatar Energy, extending beyond the immediate commercial contact to senior QE stakeholders. Drive the broader MSA trajectory with Qatar Energy and duplicate it within sub-region when strategically sounds in coordination with the Head of SD and global stakeholders. Build and execute account development plans for KSA national operators and Oman (SA,OQ affiliates). Lead, develop, and performance-manage RS2 country and account teams, establishing a high-performing, commercially disciplined sales culture. Ensure tender quality and RFQ compliance in partnership with Sales Application Support (SAS) and Sales Operations. Coordinate cross-functionally with M&U and PB/LTP to ensure integrated account coverage, particularly for KSA program business.<br><br><br>What You Bring<br><br>10+ years of sales or commercial leadership experience in gas services, rotating equipment, or broader energy/industrial capital equipment. Demonstrated ownership of order intake / P&L-type targets in Middle East markets, ideally including direct Qatar Energy or comparable NOC exposure. Experience managing large, strategically significant single-customer relationships alongside a broader territory portfolio. People’s leadership experience across geographically dispersed, multi-country teams. Engineering background (mechanical, chemical, or related) strongly preferred.
