Responsible for driving business growth within Qatar’s Oil, Gas & LNG, Petrochemical, and other Industrial sectors for the AMPIS division. The role focuses on proactive business development, client engagement, and techno-commercial support across tendering and contract phases, requiring strong knowledge of Qatar Energy standards, EPC processes, and project-based sales cycles.<br><br>A key aspect of this role includes driving business development activities related to AMPIS’s representation of Yokohama Rubber Co. (Marine Hoses Division), ensuring effective coordination, promotion, and conversion of high-value RFQs and tenders originating from this principal.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Identify and perform key functions contributing to business growth and revenue generation:Identify and develop new business opportunities with Qatar Energy, Qatar Energy LNG, major EPC contractors, and key Oil & Gas operators in Qatar. Establish and maintain strong relationships with consultants, procurement teams, project managers, and key decision-makers. Review RFQs, ITTs, and tender documents, and prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals. Coordinate with principals, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure full technical and commercial compliance. Act as the focal point for all business development activities related to Yokohama Rubber Co., including RFQ management, client engagement, technical coordination, and conversion of strategic marine hose opportunities. Ensure adherence to Qatar Energy project-specific standards. Attend pre-bid meetings, clarification meetings, and technical discussions with clients. Support commercial negotiations and contract finalization in coordination with management. Monitor upcoming projects and maintain a robust and active opportunity pipeline. Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives. Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates. Participate in industry exhibitions and events to support business development initiatives. Professional Experiences:Minimum 7 to 10 years of proven experience in Business Development or Technical Sales within Qatar Oil & Gas sector. Strong knowledge of Qatar Energy (and its affiliates) vendor registration and tendering procedures. Experience dealing with major EPC contractors operating in Qatar. Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment, Piping systems, valves, compressors, pumps etc Proven track record of achieving sales targets in Qatar market. Proven experience in Energy sector marketing and client engagement. <li>Lead the management assessment, negotiation and resolution of major contractual claims arising from Offshore contractors and LLI suppliers.</li>
<li>Ensuring protection of Company interests and supporting timely and effective dispute resolution in alignment with project objectives and corporate governance requirements.</li>

<li>Experience in administration of contracts and claims management relating to EPCI contracts in the Offshore Oil & Gas sector, including Large Scale development.</li>
<li>Proven track record in successful amicable resolution of contractual disputes. Experience in formal dispute resolution processes e.g. mediation, binding arbitration, litigation.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Middle Eastern legal statutes and civil codes preferred. Planning and Cost literacy (Primavera P6) preferred</li>
<li>Previous hands-on experience in facilitation of mediation, arbitration and/ or litigation.</li>
<li>Understanding of formal arbitration processes e.g. Redfern Schedules, document discovery/ disclosure, review of claimant statements of case and preparation of respondent's statement of defense, facilitation of expert witness statements, factual and expert witness preparation, liaising with legal representatives and legal counsel.</li>
