In this role you will get to assist with the landscape architecture design for public realm, roadways, public parks, planning and infrastructure projects.</p><p>What You'll Be Doing:</p><ul><li>Develop softscape, hardscape, planting plans, irrigation design, grading plans, and graphics.</li><li>Assist with landscape architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related design reports.</li><li>Assist with design solutions and prepares high quality presentation drawings, renderings, 3D models and animations.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Student of Landscape Architecture or relevant program is required.</li><li>Shall be a self-motivated individual who is able to take responsibility and demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks with strong hand graphic and design skills.</li><li>Proficient in Adobe InDesign.</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Photoshop.</li><li>Working Knowledge of Land F/X, Lumion and Illustrator.</li><li>Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, with a proactive attitude and strong interest in a career in engineering and consulting.</li><li>Familiarity with basic design workflows and documentation practices from academic or prior internship experience.</li><li>Experience using Adobe Acrobat for viewing and marking up drawings and documents.</li></ul><p></p></section>

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop landscape solutions that integrate plant material, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and hardscape/softscape features, with a particular focus on arid climates.</p><p><strong>What You ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Supporting the design and supervision of landscape works, including plant material selection, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and hardscape/softscape elements.</li><li>Reviewing drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure constructability, compliance with codes, and alignment with project requirements.</li><li>Interpreting complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.</li><li>Providing technical input on the suitability of plant material for arid terrain and local environmental conditions.</li><li>Contributing to urban landscape and public realm design, including high-end commercial landscapes and streetscapes.</li><li>Supervising landscape construction works to ensure quality, adherence to design intent, and compliance with specifications and standards.</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of reports, design submissions, and documents containing conceptual and illustrative elements.</li><li>Utilizing advanced digital tools and software for design development, visualization, and documentation.</li><li>Identifying potential issues during design and construction and proposing practical solutions.</li><li>Collaborating effectively with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.</li></ul><p><strong>What Required Skills You ll Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor s Degree in Landscape Architecture or an equivalent discipline.</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale landscape projects involving both design and construction.</li><li>Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards related to landscape design, plant material, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and hardscape/softscape works.</li><li>Proven ability to interpret complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.</li><li>Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and installations for constructability and compliance.</li><li>Experience with plant material selection and design for arid terrain and climates.</li><li>Experience in urban landscape design and supervision, including high-end commercial landscapes.</li><li>Experience in the preparation of reports and submissions, including conceptual and illustrative elements.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in relevant software, including Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and contemporary digital imagery/visualization software.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to identify potential problems and propose effective solutions.</li><li>Ability to work well within a project team comprising mixed nationalities and disciplines.</li><li>Must have MME.</li></ul><p><strong>What Desired Skills You ll Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferred.</li><li>Experience in the GCC region and an understanding of its cultural heritage.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
