Conducts reviews with management to finalize estimates. Ensure Bid estimates are fully approved and signed off by all. Records all basis of Bid estimate in a formal document. Records all communication, assumptions done at Bid in a manner that same can be easily referred during later date (at execution). Maintains historical records of estimates. Compiles actual performance of repeated works performed in yard and works out benchmarks to be considered for bidding purpose. Compares actuals to estimates and understands reasons for variance. Recommends benchmarks revision where necessary.
