The role involves leading field activities, supervising technicians and contractors, performing transformer testing and fault diagnosis, handling transformer oil processing activities, and ensuring compliance with approved procedures and electrical safety requirements.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Supervise and execute installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of power and distribution transformers.</li><li>Perform transformer testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.</li><li>Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of On-Load Tap Changers (OLTC) and Off-Load Tap Changers .</li><li>Lead and train field technicians in transformer maintenance and service activities.</li><li>Operate and supervise transformer oil processing, oil filtration, and oil flushing equipment .</li><li>Supervise assembly, dismantling, inspection, and maintenance of transformers and associated accessories.</li><li>Execute field service activities in substation and electrical maintenance environments.</li><li>Supervise technicians and contractors to ensure technical quality, productivity, and safety compliance.</li><li>Review job scope, drawings, site conditions, tools, consumables, spare parts, and manpower requirements.</li><li>Prepare and verify service reports, testing records, inspection findings, and maintenance documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding project progress, safety, technical observations, and site activities.</li><li>Ensure the safe operation and proper maintenance of testing instruments, tools, and oil handling equipment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with approved procedures, method statements, drawings, project requirements, and safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of power and distribution transformers and associated equipment.
