The WL Field Engineer is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The WL Field Engineer identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.<br><br>Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. Execute service delivery to the customer. Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs. Assist the Design/Technical Engineer with implementing technical programs and bids. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Responsible for leading Operation Readiness Disciplines Engineers, Disciplines Technicians in coordination with Qatar Energy Project Team and Contractors to ensure consistent and standardized execution of Project design, pre- commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for Operational Area (Operations Directorate) Projects in accordance with approved Qatar Energy Procedures, Guidelines, Engineering Design, Safety & Environmental Standards/Specifications and Scope of Work to ensure that:<br><br> Operational Area Asset Owners are fully ready to assume ownership of the asset at the point of delivery/handover, and that they are able to operate and maintain that asset in a safe, reliable and sustainable manner. Operational Area (Operations Directorate) Projects are delivered much faster, at much lower cost and at the highest productivity while maintaining the highest standard in quality and HSE.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum of 15 years’ experience in design, construction, commissioning and start-up of oil & gas processing and production facilities (Onshore/Offshore), preferably with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum eight (8) years Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader.<br><br>Experience in operations, maintenance, and projects’ pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities.<br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in engineering Discipline preferably Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 10+ years Qualifications:BSc in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field. Chartered Engineer preferred. Job Purpose:<br><br>Electrical Design Lead will be capable of reviewing & executing Electrical Engineering Activities for AIS / GIS Substations covering the full cycle of works from pre-bid engineering to support during commissioning and warranty periods and to extend support to site team. Will lead a team of Design Engineers and Draughtsman to manage the Engineering activities within budget, deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineering<br>Key Drivers:Review drawings by Design Engineers & Draughtsman & checking of design & sizing calculations of electrical equipment and obtaining approvals from the client. Check deliverables such as Equipment layouts, Cable Routing Layout, Cable Tray Layout, Earthing Layout, lighting Layout, Lightning Protection Layout, Cabling,interfaces, Schemes, Wiring,’SCADA’,Control systems. Ensure deliveries are aligned to Project Schedule.
