<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Position:</p><p>Field Operator - (2)</p><p>Date Open:</p><p>Feb 19, 2026</p><p>Closing Date:</p><p>Jun 30, 2026</p><p>Principal:</p><p>Qatar District Cooling Company</p><p>Country:</p><p>Doha, Qatar</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Candidates must have at least Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate</p><p>The job requires Male applicants.</p><p>Minimum of 5 years working experience is required for this position</p><p>Additional Qualifications:</p><p>Safety Observation</p><p><br></p><p>·Raise SO in CMMS when found during shift.</p><p>Security Rounds:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp;Conduct regular security rounds of the plant, checking for unauthorized personnel or security breaches (this is part of normal structured round check).</p><p>Safety Check:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Conduct a thorough safety inspection of the assigned area, including equipment, PPE, and emergency exits.</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Ensure all safety signage is visible and up-to-date.</p><p>Emergency Response</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Respond to emergencies, such as equipment failures, fires, or spills.</p><p>PTW System</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Issuing, reviewing, or verifying the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for maintenance and operational activities.</p><p>Equipment Line Up / LOTO</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Perform LOTO, changeover or shutdown equipment. Isolate equipment for handover to maintenance.</p><p>Equipment Inspection:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Visually inspect critical equipment (pumps, valves, chillers, etc.) for any signs of damage, leaks, or abnormal operation.</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Check lubrication levels and perform routine lubrication as needed.</p><p>Parameter Monitoring:</p><p><br></p><p>Monitor key process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.)</p><p>System Startup:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Initiate the startup procedure for assigned systems, following established checklists and procedures.</p><p>System Shutdown:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; If required, initiate the shutdown procedure for assigned systems, following established checklists and procedures.</p><p>Alarm &amp; Event (A&amp;E) Analysis</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Refer to alarm screen at the equipment panel. Monitor and raise info to CCC Operators for any anomalies.</p><p>Shift Handover:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Prepare a detailed shift handover report, including any ongoing issues, maintenance requirements, and abnormal events.</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Conduct a handover "shake-hand" handover meeting to ensure proper baton passing.</p><p>Plant Optimization</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Work on optimizing plant performance by analyzing system data and making minor adjustments to improve efficiency or reduce energy consumption. Coordination with CCC Operators.</p><p>Troubleshooting and Maintenance:</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Respond to any alarms or alerts and take necessary corrective actions.</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, replacing gaskets, or tightening bolts.</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, such as valve leaks or pump vibrations.</p><p>Defect Management</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; Raise SR (or relay the info to CCC Operator in charge) in CMMS according to the right priority.</p><p>Monitoring of Chemical Treatment Systems</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; Ensure that the water treatment system is operating correctly, monitoring chemical levels, and ensuring that water quality parameters are within specified limits.</p><p>Others and Extras</p><p><br></p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Provide information and update from the field to CCC Operator to maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Daily Operation Report (DOR).</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Occasionally attend site visits by visitors or contractors.</p><p>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform any other duty as assigned by the Plant Operations Supervisor</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Candidates must have at least Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate</li></ul><p></p></section>
