About the role:<br>We are currently recruiting for Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1) under Line Maintenance – Technical Engineering in Doha. As Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1), you will be responsible to deliver aircraft maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checks and duties within your authority. You will provide specialized knowledge skills and expertise and ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation. Specific responsibilities within the role includes:<br>Operational Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to assigned tasks within framework of Qatar Airways and Customer procedures. Review of work procedures and standards, propose improvements were procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective. Responsible for the final release of work accomplished. Ensure tasks are performed to meet company/ customer standards and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers. Implement solutions to technical problems within his/her range of authority. Aircraft or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements. Management & Leadership:Supervise a team of mechanics or technical assistants, ascertaining task are efficiently performed and comply with procedures and meet task objectives. Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position. Establish the teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. Regularly evaluate the teams’ objectives, plans , and procedures and revise when needed. Ensuring staff under his immediate controls adhere to published technical and safety requirements defined in publishing manuals,Customer procedures and other publications. Defining priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources is channeled to perform the tasks allocated and meet schedules and planned check activities. <p>Job Title: Project Engineer RLP Duration: Permanent Location: Doha Job Description: Experience of leading projects (as Project Engineer and not as Electrical SME) of: • Reconfiguration of power distribution systems • designing new protection systems • upgrading electrical equipment (e.g., switchgears, transformers, generators, UPS, etc.) • Experience in brownfield projects • Experience of engineering contractor's performance management • Experience of developing (or contributing to) Procurement Strategy JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE Is the project's resolute representative from the Technical Organization throughout the life of the project and shall function as an integral part of the project team. Actions must be consistent with the project economics and support the project execution plan. Provide input during the FEED, Detail Design, Construction and Startup phases of the project. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Design Responsibilities • Lead project team through all aspects of technology selection, design basis, and process design. • Provides input and leads the review of contractor design of PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, heat and energy material balances, design of new chemicals, process design, etc. • Ensure design has appropriate Advance Process Control System tools incorporated for process optimization. • Review and provide feedback on designs, equipment selections, and construction plans with other project team members. • Participate in project HAZOPs, alarm objective analysis, and project MOC HSE evaluations after HAZOP. • Leads process control, interlock, shutdown logic, DCS graphical display, alarm display design. • Review and approve necessary operations procedures and training from a project process perspective to include normal operation, startup, shutdown, environmental limits, and emergency shutdown. • Participate in the MOC process by providing technical inputs and evaluating recommendations to ensure operational feasibility and compliance to safety standards. • Arrange process-related expert consulting services as needed. • Coordinate all project economic studies with company Strategy Group.</p><p>• Required (Qualification): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical/ Electrical / Mechanical/ Civil). • Preferred (Qualification): Master Degree in Engineering (Chemical/ Electrical / Mechanical/ Civil). • Experience • Required (Years / Industry): 5-7 years of experience in the O&G Industry. • Preferred (Years / Industry):Similar experience in Petrochemicals Industry. • Languages • Required (Language / Level4): English - proficient • Preferred (Language / Level4): Arabic - working knowledge</p>
