Job Description The NOC Team Leader is responsible for leading and controlling day-to-day 24x7 Network Operations Center activities to ensure continuous monitoring, timely incident response, service restoration, SLA achievement and effective operational communication for Malomatia managed-services customers. The role provides technical and operational leadership to NOC engineers, acts as the primary shift/operational escalation point, coordinates major incidents with resolver groups and customer stakeholders, and ensures that events, incidents, service requests and changes are handled in accordance with agreed ITIL processes, SOPs and contractual requirements. The Team Leader also drives ticket quality, shift discipline, knowledge management, operational reporting, team capability and continuous service improvement. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the NOC team during assigned operations and ensure effective 24x7 service coverage, shift readiness, workload allocation and proper handover between shifts. Ensure continuous monitoring of customer infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud services, applications and other in-scope configuration items using approved monitoring and observability platforms. Act as the first operational and technical escalation point for NOC engineers and provide guidance for event validation, troubleshooting, impact assessment, ticket classification and escalation. Lead the NOC response for P1/P2 and other major incidents, ensuring immediate engagement of the correct resolver teams, timely management escalation, stakeholder communication and service restoration within agreed SLA. Ensure all actionable alerts and customer-reported issues are logged accurately in the ITSM platform, correctly categorized and prioritized, assigned to the appropriate support group, updated throughout the lifecycle and properly closed. Monitor SLA performance in real time and proactively intervene on tickets approaching response, update or resolution thresholds; escalate risks before SLA breach wherever possible. Maintain ownership of incidents from detection through restoration from the NOC coordination perspective, including technical follow-up, vendor/resolver engagement and confirmation that monitoring has returned to normal. Ensure strict adherence to Incident, Event, Major Incident, Change, Problem and Service Request procedures, escalation matrices, communication protocols, SOPs and customer-specific operational requirements. Coordinate approved changes and planned maintenance activities from the NOC perspective, validate monitoring impact, track execution status and ensure required start, progress, completion, rollback or extension communications are issued. Review ticket quality, event-to-ticket compliance, troubleshooting evidence, timelines, work notes, assignment accuracy and closure information; coach engineers on identified quality gaps. Prepare and validate shift, daily, weekly and monthly operational inputs covering major incidents, SLA/KPI performance, alert volumes, recurring events, escalations, service risks and improvement actions. Maintain accurate shift handover records, operational logs, known-issue registers, escalation contacts, SOPs, runbooks and knowledge articles, ensuring information remains current and usable by all shifts. Identify recurring alarms, incident patterns, monitoring gaps, false positives and operational inefficiencies and work with technical teams and management to drive problem management, tuning, automation and continuous improvement. Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, shadowing/reverse-shadowing and service transition activities for new customers, technologies and monitoring scope, ensuring operational readiness before handover to steady-state support. Coach and develop NOC engineers through technical guidance, performance feedback, knowledge sharing, training and individual capability development; identify skill gaps and recommend development actions. Support roster and resource planning, attendance and shift discipline, leave coordination and operational coverage to ensure service continuity without compromising contractual obligations. Maintain professional communication with customers, internal technical teams, vendors, Service Delivery/Operations Management and other stakeholders, particularly during high-impact incidents and escalations. Ensure compliance with Malomatia policies, customer security requirements, access-control practices, information-security requirements, quality procedures and applicable ISO/ITSM governance controls. Promote automation and operational efficiency by identifying repetitive NOC activities suitable for event correlation, auto-ticketing, notification automation, dashboarding or other approved AIOps/automation use cases. Perform other operational leadership duties reasonably required to support the Managed Monitoring Services function and customer service commitments. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in NOC, infrastructure operations or managed services, including at least 2 years in a senior/shift-lead/team-lead capacity. Strong operational experience in 24x7 enterprise or government environments supporting multi-technology infrastructure and business-critical services. Strong knowledge of NOC monitoring/observability, event management, ITSM ticket lifecycle, escalation and major incident coordination. Sound technical understanding of LAN/WAN, network devices, firewalls/load balancers, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup, cloud and enterprise applications. Practical knowledge of ITIL Incident, Event, Problem, Change, Request and Major Incident Management practices. In this role, you will design scalable category trees, define attribute schemas, and collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to ensure our AI-powered search, recommendation, and personalization engines are trained on clean, consistent, and semantically rich product data. Your taxonomies will directly influence conversion rates, catalog quality scores, and the personalized experience. ???? What You’ll Get Your Hands On Taxonomy Design & Governance Design, build, and maintain a multi-level product taxonomy (category trees, sub-categories) aligned with business verticals and customer needs. Establish and enforce taxonomy governance standards, naming conventions, and classification rules across all product lines. Keep the category system up to date by adding new categories when needed, removing ones that are no longer used, and fixing any conflicts where products are placed in the wrong category. Conduct regular audits to detect taxonomy drift, miscategorizations, and data quality issues at scale on the live app and at the backend. Attribute & Metadata Architecture Define product attribute schemas (facets, filters, and metadata fields) for each category, ensuring completeness, consistency, and searchability. Make sure product details (like size, color, or material) are consistently organized across all categories and standardized Collaborate with catalog & content operations team to create data entry standards and attribute validation rules. AI & Smart Platform Collaboration Support development of AI-assisted auto-classification and auto-tagging pipelines by defining ground truth datasets and evaluation criteria. Build lists of related words and search terms to help the app better understand what shoppers are looking for and surface the right products. Review how the AI is categorizing products, spot mistakes, and share clear feedback to help it get smarter over time. Cross-Functional Partnership Work with Search & Discovery teams to align taxonomy structures with faceted navigation, filter logic, and SEO requirements. Collaborate with Merchandising and Category Managers to reflect business priorities and emerging trends in taxonomy updates. Partner with merchants onboarding & experience team to streamline product data ingestion and enforce classification compliance at source. Liaise with UX/UI teams to validate that category structures align with front-end navigation patterns and customer browsing behavior. Data Quality & Tooling Own the taxonomy management toolset and drive process improvements. Produce regular reporting on catalog coverage, classification accuracy, attribute completeness, and taxonomy health KPIs. Develop and maintain documentation, taxonomy guides, and onboarding materials for internal teams and third-party sellers. ????‍♂️ The Magic You Bring Autonomous Mindset: Proactively identify gaps and opportunities within the taxonomy and catalog data, taking initiative to propose and implement improvements without waiting to be asked.4–6 years of experience in taxonomy, information architecture, data governance, or catalog management — preferably within an e Commerce, retail, or marketplace environment. Proven track record designing hierarchical classification systems for large, diverse product catalogs (200K+ SKUs). Deep understanding of product attribute modeling, faceted search, and metadata standards (GS1, UNSPSC, or similar). Hands-on experience with PIM, CMS (Product Information Management) systems. Proficiency with data tools: Excel / Google Sheets, SQL (for querying product data), and basic scripting (Python preferred). Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and drive systematic resolutions across large datasets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; ability to document complex classification logic in clear, accessible language. Commissioning Lead (Offshore Electrical) Assignment Details Location: Offshore in Qatar Work schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off (28:28), paid only for the days you work. Project duration: 36 months Key Job Accountabilities Witness contractors’ scope of work and validate test and check sheets in accordance with project requirements. Follow-up construction activities and progress during Pre-shutdown and shutdown of Brownfield facilities. Oversee Brownfield offshore Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning execution activities and ensure their safety and compliant. Follow-up punch list creation, categorisation and clearance via weekly meeting with Contractor. Verify the completness of EPC CONTRACTOR’s completion dossiers for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning through to handover to permanent asset. Monitor and verify EPC Contractor’s preservation activities and ensure it meet project requirements. Coordinate, capture, and share SC Lessons Learned (LL) for inclusion in the project lessons learned register. Monitor progress and status of subsystems using the completion management system and ensure timely handovers. Oversee and control all mechanical completion (MC), pre-commissioning (CSA), and commissioning documentation (RFSU). Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering. 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Strong knowledge and understanding of Completion certificate types. Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization. Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) database such as PIMS, Win PCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar. Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.. Have pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major Oil & Gas projects.
