Role Description : QA/QC MEP Engineer, is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. We are looking for a Technical MEP Engineer to join our team and support our MEP trading operations.<br>The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of MEP products and experience in reviewing specifications, preparing material submittals, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.<br>Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and review MEP material submittals and technical documentation.• Review product datasheets, catalogues, drawings, and manufacturer documents.• Verify technical compliance of MEP materials against project specifications.• Prepare compliance statements, technical comparison sheets, and deviation reports.• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, consultants, and internal teams for technical clarifications.• Support product selection and provide technical recommendations.<br>Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.• Experience in MEP materials, trading, contracting, or construction industries.• Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documents.*Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Senior QA/QC Engineer (Qatar)<br><br>Job Purpose<br><br>Ensure quality compliance across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, repair, and modification activities for onshore and offshore facilities. Provide technical expertise in materials, metallurgy, welding, fabrication, NDT, inspection, and auditing while ensuring adherence to applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company procedures.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Lead and supervise QA/QC, inspection, and NDT personnel. Conduct failure investigations and root cause analyses. Support procurement through technical and quality reviews. Review and approve QA/QC and welding documentation. Provide QA/QC input for audits, risk reviews, MOC, and startup readiness. Ensure contractor compliance during projects, maintenance, and shutdowns. Perform supplier and contractor quality audits. Oversee inspection and certification of equipment and assets. Promote quality awareness, training, and procedure compliance. Develop and improve QA/QC processes and procedures. Provide technical expertise in metallurgy, welding, NDT, and inspection. Ensure compliance with HSE and quality management requirements.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. •Handling mechanical Inspection including CI, HGPI and MI for Heavy-duty gas turbine and its auxiliaries.<br>
•Planning and preparing schedule with the customer for all planned maintenance activity. Has required technical expertise to perform troubleshooting and address technical queries on end users in collaboration with the technical support team.<br>
•Take lead in discussion with customer for plan and implementation of any mechanical-related NICs/TILs and have a close follow-up until completion.<br>
•Maintaining a documented history of all mechanical modifications for the Covered Units. Has required skills in preparing effective and quality Field Service reports.<br>
•Supporting end users operation & maintenance staff with diagnostics counselling and addressing maintenance /operational issues on Covered Units.<br>
•Performing geometric dimensional check of foundation, equipment and auxiliaries’ skids positioning, levelling (ensure levelness and elevations of sub-sole plates and perform contact checks between sub-sole plates and package supports) and alignment<br>
•Well versed in handling new unit Erection / Installation, Pre-commissioning and commissioning of gas turbines and auxiliaries including lube oil system, starting system, fuel gas system, Filter house, online / offline water wash ..etc<br>
•Advising on the interpretation of drawings for installation optimization<br>
