Manage and ensure rig is in compliance with applicable rules, codes, regulations, and industry best practices considering the safety of personnel, environment & equipment.<br><br>Roles & Responsibilities<br><br>Rig Move & Related activities:<br><br>Supervises and arranges for the preparation of Rig Move, stability calculations for jacking, floating, and preloading, ensuring compliance with Rig Move preparation checklists. Observation of weather forecast for rig move window including preload hours. Review of Soil condition reports for location for anticipation of expected penetration. Ensure the jacking system & motors have planned maintenance completed up to date and are ready for operation. The drilling package and cantilever are secured per the rig’s operation manual. Cranes and loose items are secured in accordance with the best seamanship practices while securing watertight doors/hatches during the rig move. Towing is available, maintained up to date equipment is ready and certified as required. Spare equipment should be considered and highlighted if not available. Mooring winches are maintained up to date and ready for operation. Arrange and participate in rig move meetings. Maintains records of associated documents/files and moves history to ensure that full and accurate records are kept. Watertight integrity checks.<br><br>Stability<br><br>Assures daily accurate rig loading, leg reactions, supplies of fuel/water and centers of gravity are kept within the design limits for the safe operation of the unit. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Perform comprehensive Project Planning, Scheduling, Progress monitoring, Progress Verification and reporting activities necessary to achieve the successful execution of the assigned Project(s) from initiation to close-out.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 15 years’ experience in planning of projects in Oil & Gas including large capital and/or portfolio projects with onshore brownfield and greenfield projects including gas processing plants, refineries, onshore pipelines, etc. Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience in National Oil Companies and/or International Oil Companies. Experience in EPC project lifecycle, encompassing engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning planning, including system-wise handover strategies Experience in developing and managing shutdown schedules covering the full cycle: pre-shutdown preparation, shutdown execution and post-shutdown activities. Experience includes project planning, scheduling & phasing, project control & monitoring, forecasting, trending, risk assessment, variations/claims analysis, progress verification. High level of computer literacy with MS Office and relevant Project Control software including Primavera. Skills in Primavera Risk Analysis and Power BI are preferable.
