Initiates material procurement for fabrication aids. Initiate RFQ for work to be subcontracted. Review drawings for constructability. Initiate assembly checklist for all major construction milestones. Leads WCR review and confirmation of WT before lifts, loadout, weighing. Manages all coordination for loadout preparation and weighing. Carries out coordination with Marine and Fab Team for installation aids, sea fastening and offshore lift rigging. Carries out coordination with CSE Department and Marine Warranty Surveyor. Publishes CSE deliverable list with required dates. Chairs CSE coordination meeting. Provide yard layout input with regards to layout, stack, and loadout dates.<br>Tasks and Responsibilities – General Understands the full contractual scope of work, contract type and milestone schedules. Participates in development of project fabrication execution plan to meet contract requirements most productively. Develops a work pack index and sets priorities and ROS dates for deliverables. Prepare project specific task listing. At commencement of the project participate in fabrication kick-off meeting. Forecast fabrication requirements (deliverable inputs) to meet the project contract schedule. Coordinates with MTO, warehouse, drafting teams to issue work packs. Review and understand manhour estimate. Ensure estimates are correct. Provide feedback to the estimation department where required. Issues work packs and follows up all activities for work pack execution. Carries out progress reporting on the project. Reviews weekly fabrication progress reports for progress and productivity. Acts on anomalies. Responsible for documenting all scopes of work changes (change orders) and coordinating AFC estimate updates. Reviews input deliverable forecast dates (material & drawings) and advises impact to fabrication schedule. Appraises Senior Production Engineer or Fabrication Operations Engineer of any project issues which affect the forecasted progress, productivity, and schedule commitments. Prepare technical queries/correspondence to be issued to the client. Provides field guidance to meet project specifications, schedule, and targets. Participates and provides feedback on regular sites and look ahead meetings. Coordinates with subcontractors for completion of work. Raises variance orders to capture extra works not part of AFC estimates. Identify items requiring support from the construction engineering team. Coordinates and follows up to get required input. Primary Functions To co-ordinate and supervise the activities of the foremen and his crew on the project. Must ensure compliance with HSE, Quality and Ethics policy and attached roles and responsibilities<br><br>Tasks and Responsibilities To set and apply standards of SAFETY, ETHICS and QUALITY to comply with procedures and take action/s where Procedures and policy are not met and rectify/report immediately. To be capable of communicating fluently with Crew, Foremen, Superintendent and all others with whom he liaises. Be capable of reading and understanding drawings, project specifications and procedures. and be capable of taking the correct remedial actions. (Wherever Applicable). To be conversant with the specific standards applicable to the project / area of work. To be capable of looking four weeks ahead in planning of work for the project utilize the project current plan for planning for future work. Provide his Foremen with drawings, WPS and information require to do the work efficiently, productively and safely. Interface with the production engineer to ensure material is available for the planned work. To ensure Proper tools and equipment’s are available and they are utilized efficiently, productively and safely. To utilize the overall project / area plan(s), milestone dates, yard layouts and construction drawings to understand the overall view of the project and or his area of responsibility. Have an overall view and understanding of the project completion including but not limited to construction methodology, fab sequence and milestone dates. Forecast resources required for the planned work ahead (Manpower, Equipment's etc.) To be able to conduct meeting with those reporting to him in an organized manner. Ensure proper plan of storage of welding consumable to eliminate any chance of welding consumable mix up and wrong selection. Interface with F&M department to ensure timely calibration of welding machines. Interface with Welding engineers to qualify WPS, welders for specific project. 8. تطبيق معرفة واسعة بممارسات الهندسة لحل التحديات الإدارية المرتبطة بالإنتاج لتحقيق عملية الإنتاج بأكثر الطرق فاعلية وكفاءة وتوفيرًا للتكاليف. <br>

Job Description<br><br>Job Overview:<br><br>Field Engineer applies their conceptual knowledge of field experience and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership. He/She is responsible for solving a range of straightforward field/yard related issues and analyzing possible solutions using the company’s standard procedures and processes. Field Engineer understands key business drivers and applies the acquired knowledge to solve problems through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<br><br>Ensure that all work is carried out safely in compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment policies and procedures Readiness to travel offshore for job execution, including willingness to be at onshore site as required Recommend changes in the technical details and drawings where these may result in safe operations and clarity on information in the installation procedures Develop the vessel layout and barge loadout plans for the transportation of materials, equipment and structures to offshore to facilitate safe and timely installation Actively participate in project Constructability sessions, Readiness reviews, Hazard Identification studies or Job Safety Analysis as applicable and communicate to implement the recommendations Review and retain project drawings and documents, report the discrepancies, errors and omissions concerning the information required to perform the work. Ensure the work is within the capabilities of the proposed equipment Prepare offshore installation procedures as per the Company Procedures and Processes. As a minimum, the procedure(s) will outline the following:Methods, techniques, and practices to be used to perform work The sequences to be used to perform work Installation aids, temporary works, and consumables required to perform the work Prepare material list covering the construction materials and project consumables and liaise with the project coordinator for the procurement Issue “Loadout Lists” applicable to the work based on the recommended practice Coordinate with Marine, E&M, Welding, Quality, HSES, Survey & ROV, Diving Departments and Subcontractors as per offshore scope execution requirements to ensure that necessary equipment and personnel are available and ready to be deployed for the project Witness/inspect pre-rigging, loadouts, and sea fastening, and acknowledge the receipt of fabricated structures, line pipes, and other materials to be installed offshore. Developing checklists and inspecting loadouts as per Company Procedures Coordinate with the Production Engineers and verify loadouts of fabricated items for the project Coordinate with the logistics team for inputs on materials, structures, equipment loaded out for cargo movements from one location to another either by ship / barge / trucks, etc. Liaise with the customer representative and various subcontractor representatives at the offshore site and with the Operations Engineer Monitor the progress of the work and site conditions and advise the Operations Engineer of any development that may result in changes to the project and schedule and/or execution sequence Conduct work scope presentations to offshore key personnel explaining the planning and execution of work including contractual and technical aspects of the work. Issuing field sketches, data sheets, and checklists in the field as required for information purposes to the offshore personnel Participate in the resolution of any technical problems arising during offshore installation and assist in the formulation of corrective action requirements Prepare Post Job completion Reports as per Company Procedures Prepare/collate as-built documentation and records as required by contract requirements and approved project scope of work<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Essential Qualifications and Education:<br><br>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering3-5 years of offshore installation experience Knowledge in Auto CAD or similar tools Adequate knowledge of design and offshore project execution Basic knowledge in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, Power Point etc. and any 3D software experience Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Willingness to travel to different job sites and work in various environmental conditions as required<br><br>About Us<br><br>Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
