<p>This position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring a smooth and efficient Front Office operation. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests, handling arrivals, departures, reservations, and guest inquiries while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.</p><p>What you will be doing:</p><ul><li>Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a professional and efficient check-in and check-out experience.</li><li>Register guests, verify reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.</li><li>Process guest payments, cashiering transactions, currency exchange, and maintain accurate billing records.</li><li>Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.</li><li>Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled efficiently.</li><li>Review daily arrival and departure lists, ensuring all special requests, VIP arrivals, and room allocations are properly arranged.</li><li>Promote hotel facilities, outlets, room upgrades, and other services to maximize guest satisfaction and hotel revenue.</li><li>Maintain accurate guest profiles and update guest information in the property management system.</li><li>Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all guest information at all times.</li><li>Monitor room availability and communicate any discrepancies to the Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort).</li><li>Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management.</li><li>Good in English and communications Skills.</li><li>Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or similar.</li><li>Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and financial transactions.</li><li>Positive attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity.</li><li>Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts when required.</li></ul>

Verify the vendor associates who come to the hotel to collect payment before delivering the check to them. Verify invoices received from vendors. Also, make inquiries regarding payment. Review all bookings made in the Accounts Payable Sub Ledger by the Accounts Payable Clerk and verify that there are no delays or late payments. Verify that bookings in the Cash Disbursement Journal are proper. Verify that Accounts Payable Sub Ledger and General Ledger balances agree. Review the Schedule of Accounts Payable prepared by the Accounts Payable Clerk and submit a report to the Director of Finance Business Partner and Assistant Director of Finance. Properly monitor the issuance of checks and safeguard all unused checks. Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements. Verify duties are performed according to hotel procedures.
