Assists with pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilization) and performance of slickline services at the well site. Assists with post-job demobilization, clean up and repair of service equipment and products. Given the nature of oil field service work, all employees must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success. Every employee must be able to work as an effective team member. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred. Employee will obtain driving skills and licensure as required by local conditions. While an Operator Assistant, the employee&aposs supervisors will assess his/her abilities in these key areas, and the employee will have an opportunity to confirm that Halliburton provides opportunities consistent with his/her career goals. Overview<br><br>The BMS Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC, fire, and other integrated systems. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and supporting energy efficiency initiatives while adhering to safety standards.<br><br>Your role<br><br>Monitor and oversee repair and maintenance activities of all BMS-controlled systems carried out by service providers across the site. Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of control systems, and carry out troubleshooting and minor repairs as per the Daily/Weekly Maintenance Plan. Operate and monitor HVAC, fire alarm, and other critical systems through the BMS to ensure efficient and safe performance. Adjust system parameters and variables as required to maintain operations within defined limits and optimal conditions. Record and analyze operational data of HVAC and other BMS-controlled systems to support energy efficiency improvements and performance tracking. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Immediately report any accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or practices to the concerned authority. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks to enhance awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain proper documentation and provide regular written reports on maintenance, repairs, and system performance to management. Troubleshoot and resolve unexpected technical issues or operational challenges in a timely manner. Support site management in selecting and procuring materials required for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring they meet specifications and are fit for purpose. Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of materials and equipment. Provide recommendations for system upgrades, technology improvements, and modifications to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
