Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>This position is responsible for providing expert quality management leadership and technical guidance across offshore projects, with full accountability for the effective implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the Offshore Projects Department.<br><br>The role ensures compliance with Qatar Energy standards, Shell DEP requirements, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards throughout all project phases. The successful candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of Project Quality Plans (PQPs) to ensure quality objectives are achieved and regulatory and contractual requirements are consistently met.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the oil and gas industry, including significant offshore project experience. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, international codes, standards, and QA/QC best practices. Sound understanding of offshore construction, welding, and non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques. Perform follow up for the observations and corrective actions.</li> <li>Plan and ensure timely execution of inspection and certification of Gas Cylinders, Portable Tanks and Lifting Equipment as per QA/QC section KPI.</li> <li>Promote quality awareness among OES-Maintenance, Supply Department and Contractors through training, knowledge sharing, and procedure roll out sessions.</li> <li>Complete understanding of Policies and Procedures for Project and Plant QA/QC, eg: Material receiving Inspection, Control of Welding, Pressure testing and assist in revision or updating of the same including support for various other QA/QC Procedures.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering</li> <li>Professional certifications in welding, NDT, Inspection or Auditing</li> <li>6 years' experience in QA/QC related activities with the Oil and Gas industry.</li> <li>Proficiency in the field of design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection and installation of process equipment and piping, including troubleshooting of welding and QA/QC issues.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong><ul> <li>Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance </li> </ul></li> <li><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><ul> <li>10 Hours / 6 Days</li> </ul></li> <li><strong>Duration:</strong><ul> <li>15 months to 24 months, with possible extension</li> </ul></li> <li><strong>Location:</strong><ul> <li>Qatar Onshore</li> </ul></li> </ul> </div>
