<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Performing in-process and final inspections of welded and machined components.</p><p>Ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, approved procedures, standards, and relevant API, ASME, and ISO requirements.</p><p>Reviewing welding documents such as WPS, PQR, and WQR, and conducting visual welding inspections.</p><p>Monitoring welding activities and coordinating NDT report reviews.</p><p>Inspecting machined parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, tolerances, material traceability, and MTC compliance.</p><p>Witnessing hydrostatic and gas pressure tests while verifying equipment calibration, test procedures, acceptance criteria, and safety compliance.</p><p>Maintaining inspection records, preparing reports and NCRs, and coordinating with vendor quality teams.</p><p>Acting as the representative at the vendor site and supporting audits or client inspections when required.</p><p>Work is mainly based at a vendor facility or machine shop, with close coordination with vendor teams.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.</p><p>Needs 5-10 years of QC inspection experience in the oil and gas industry.</p><p>Must have strong experience in welding inspection, machine shop inspection, and pressure testing.</p><p>Preferred/required certifications include API Q1, API 6A, API 7-1, CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, and familiarity with ASME standards.</p><p>Key skills include reading engineering drawings, understanding GD&T, knowledge of API/ASME standards, attention to detail, reporting, communication, and ability to work independently.</p><p>Expected deliverables include inspection reports, release notes, verified pressure test records, NCR follow-up, and compliance with quality requirements.</p><p></p></section>
<p>Refinery and Chemical Plant units processes are technically complex and given the critical nature of unit operations means significant attention is required by the panel operator on a continuous basis during his duty hours for safe and efficient operation of Refinery and Chemical Plant as QP Refinery and hence assumes strategic importance in the State of Qatar.</p><p>The incumbent is required to work in rotating shifts required to work extended hours as per work requirement.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>7 Years of operations experience in relevant units of Refinery / Chemical Plant.</li><li>2 Years technical training or equivalent.</li><li>Good knowledge of basic arithmetic.</li><li>Solid knowledge of DCS / Panel Operations.</li><li>High level of concentration, anticipation, Surveillance / vigilance, and analysis skills.</li><li>Firefighting/First Aid/BA/H2S training.</li><li>Good oral and reading knowledge of English.</li></ul>

Carry out the signwriting works in the fabrication, painting and designing of signs as per the work instructions & directive of the Supervisor to meet clients and yard's requirements for a timely delivery if projects.
