<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> We are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer for one of our clients with the following details: Location: Doha, Qatar Start Date: Sep 2026 End Date: Mar 2028 Work Status: Residential, Single Qualification and Experience Required: <ul> <li>Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any engineering disciplines</li> <li>Experience: Min. 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas Major Projects Procurement and Expediting</li> <li>Able to travel in short notice for expediting missions worldwide</li> <li>Language: Fluent English is mandatory, Chinese is an advantage</li> <li>Computer literate</li> <li>Good leadership skills</li> <li>Good communication skills</li> <li>Good analytical skills.</li> <li>Good and creative problem solver</li> <li>Proactive and possess initiatives</li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Ability to work on Projects under stress and in a complex and multicultural environment</li> </ul> Accountabilities <ul> <li>The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior with regard to HSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSE rules within his area.</li> </ul> The Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for: <ul> <li>Desk and Field Expediting of problematic vendors with EPCIC Contractor to ensure smooth and timely deliveries of EPCIC Contractor’s supplied materials and assigned package.</li> <li>Ensure technical coordination with Engineering relevant disciplines / QAQC / Contracts / Planning / Construction / Commissioning / ATEX / FOPS, etc during all phases of EPCIC Contract</li> </ul> Activities <ul> <li>To carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures,</li> <li>To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality,</li> <li>Part of EPCIC Procurement and Expediting Team</li> <li>Attend SCM and Expediting Meetings and highlight to EPCIC Contractor of issues / delays or potential issues / delays in regards to their Vendors</li> <li>Attend Vendors Progress Meetings, address issues / delays raised by vendors</li> <li>Review with EPCIC Contractor’s Package Managers / Expeditors on vendor’s progress</li> <li>Review Expediting Status Report (ESR) and report of any slippages from Plan to Senior Procurement Engineer (Lead) and Planner</li> <li>Review VMDR and expedite EPCIC Contractor for pending vendor documentation submission of Campaign 1 and Campaign 2 including Vendor Data Book</li> <li>Review vendor documentation in MANASA (Company Document Control System)</li> <li>Review EPCIC Contractor surveillance plan with QAQC Lead / QAQC Surveillance Engineer and to ensure proper execution by CTR</li> <li>Review Vendors Progress Reports vs Production Schedules and advise if any slippages</li> <li>Perform Field Expediting to verify the actual progress of major and problematic packages and to expedite them accordingly</li> <li>In case of slippage in schedule, liaise with other teams involved (engineering, construction, commissioning) to propose remedial actions for implementation by EPCIC Contractor and Vendor</li> <li>Identify Procurement risks and advise mitigation strategies</li> <li>Review FAT Plan and Cyber Security FAT Plan with internal disciplines to ensure the participation of disciplines for the FAT, EX Inspections, and Cyber Security FAT.</li> <li>Ensure Punch Lists are closed at vendors facility after FAT and minimize carry over to Construction Yard</li> <li>Participate to Spare Parts management and procurement by Contractor in accordance with EPCIC Contract and coordination with FOPS, end users and warehouse,</li> <li>Follow-up and monitor Vendors’ field site representative mobilization by EPCIC Contractor to align with Construction and Commissioning schedules</li> <li>Closure of Punch List in ICAPS pertaining to his package</li> <li>Evaluate vendors’ performance along with QAQC and discipline engineers</li> <li>Stand in for other Senior Procurement Engineer in his / her absence</li> <li>Promote a “no change policy” to meet budget and schedule constraints without impairing quality and safety of the EPCIC activities,</li> <li>To ensure close coordination within Project team on all engineering, constructability and operational matters,</li> <li>To ensure that relevant lessons learned from previous projects are considered for Project works performance, and to report lessons learned on the current Package</li> </ul> If Interested Kindly apply. </div>
