Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams across Feasibility/ Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases. Direct the preparation and quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, standards, and schedule requirements. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant design output, meeting customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Review and approve engineering execution strategies, project organization structures, and discipline responsibilities. Prepare and implement the Engineering management Plan on projects and ensure discipline schedules/budgets include safety and sustainability activities for the asset lifecycle. Manage technical Value Improvement Practices (VIPs) - technology selection, value engineering, energy optimization, RAM, etc.<br><br>Cross-Discipline Coordination & Interface Management<br><br>Provide overall integration across engineering disciplines, ensuring effective sequencing and interface management. Establish and maintain engineering coordination procedures with internal teams, licensors, contractors, and stakeholders. Oversee and manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and third-party contractors. Ensure structured communication and resolution of technical queries and inter-disciplinary conflicts.<br><br>Technical Governance & Quality Assurance<br><br>Ensure engineering activities comply with Worley standards, international codes, and customer specifications Must ensure maintaining engineering quality assurance processes, including document control, review cycles, and approval timelines. Lead the review and approval of key engineering documents, ensuring compliance with HSSEQ, operability, maintainability, and technical integrity requirements. Must ensure and participate in design reviews, safety studies, and technical assurance activities. Ensure required Technical Peer Reviews (TPRs) are planned, scheduled, and budgeted; proactively engage Location Director of Engineering when needed.<br><br>Project Management & Delivery<br><br>Overall key technical interface with customer management teams. Support the safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of engineering scope across all project phases. Monitor engineering progress against schedule, budget, and deliverable milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans. Provide technical and commercial input to optimize design solutions and manage project risks. Ensure alignment between engineering outputs and project controls (cost, schedule, procurement needs). Maintain engineering registers for assumptions, holds, technical queries, deviations, key document changes, and SEAL decisions.<br><br>HSSEQ & Compliance<br><br>Champion Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality culture within engineering activities. Ensure designs incorporate safe, sustainable, and environmentally compliant solutions. Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks and standards.<br><br>Team Leadership & Capability<br><br>Lead, mentor, and develop multi-location engineering teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and competency. Ensure teams are appropriately staffed and aligned with project requirements. Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and stakeholders. Capture and implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br>Education<br><br>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of Engineering from an accredited University. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.<br><br>Job Specific Knowledge , Experience & Competencies<br><br>Significant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sector projects. Must have proven experience as Project Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager on Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering projects during the last five years. <p><br></p><p>About the Role We are looking for a Site Architect to work under the Programme Management Business Group, providing project management and construction supervision services. The Site Architect will assist the Project Manager and/or Resident Engineer in administering the day-to-day operational activities of the project. The role will include the review and processing of architectural submittals by contractors, including design documents, prequalification submissions, material proposals, shop drawings, method statements, construction drawings, RFIs and as-built documentation. The Site Architect will also undertake site inspections and continuous surveillance of assigned architectural and interior works to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, quality requirements, construction schedules, and health and safety requirements. Non-conformances shall be documented, and the Site Architect may participate in identifying and implementing appropriate resolutions.</p><p>Responsibilities Lead architectural coordination with other disciplines and support the Project Manager and/or Resident Engineer in performing contractual duties on site. Assist with the processing of contract documents and contract administration activities related to architectural works. Develop, modify, review, correct and update architectural production drawings, construction documents and design information, as required. Advise the Project Manager on technical matters relating to architectural and interior works that may affect construction progress, quality, cost, safety or programme. Review and process architectural shop drawings, technical submittmitsal, material proposals, prequalification submissions, method statements, RFIs, as-built drawings and other construction submissions from project inception through close-out using Rivit / BIM is mandatory. Review contractor shop drawings against the approved design and tender drawings (BIM model) to verify clash free compliance with the design intent, specifications and project requirements, and provide appropriate recommendations or comments. Review proposed architectural materials and subcontractors from a technical standpoint and advise the Project Manager on their suitability and compliance. Provide practical resolutions to architectural and multidisciplinary technical issues and coordinate the implementation of agreed solutions to maintain progress on site. Monitor architectural and interior works, including finishes, fit-out works and associated interfaces, for compliance with approved documents, quality standards and contractual requirements. Undertake site observations, work inspections and material inspections to verify the contractor s compliance with approved shop drawings, consultant specifications, good construction practice, programme requirements, and health and safety procedures. Monitor procurement and delivery of architectural materials to support timely execution of construction activities. Lead and coordinate architectural snagging and de-snagging activities to support completion and handover. Attend project, progress, coordination and technical meetings as directed by the Project Manager and prepare draft site or engineer s instructions when required. Provide technical input to the Project Manager regarding architectural variations and related contractor claims. Oversee architects and inspectors responsible for architectural works and verify that construction and installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control requirements. Apply and monitor project quality control procedures for construction supervision activities and identify opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with construction management to identify and eliminate hazards associated with architectural works that may affect the environment or the health and safety of personnel. Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to confirm that the latest revisions are being used and that works are technically executed correctly. <p>The Program Management Specialist is to provide planning, project programming, project design, project management and other administrative duties as required by a USAF engineering contract. This position will be in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and it is located at Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB), Doha, Qatar.</p><p>Essential Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provide planning, project programming, project design, project management and other administrative duties as required by the contract.</li><li>Program all projects IAW latest AFCENT Business Rules for the Execution of the Integrated Priority List guidance and DAFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects and support the facility board process by participating in meetings, preparing briefings, and inspections.</li><li>Must prepare, maintain and document approval documents, records, reports, and data associated with project programming and make available upon request from the Customer. In conjunction with the real property accountable officer, the Programmer will provide a recommendation to the Government regarding if capitalization of any of the project work is necessary. If the Government concurs that capitalization is necessary, the Programmer will initiate a draft DD Form 1354, Transfer and Acceptance of Military Real Property, identifying all work needing to be capitalized. Will provide all programming documents to include draft DD Form 1391, DD Form 1354 (draft) and/or AF Form 300 (as applicable) within 30 calendar days of WRRB approval with no more than two (2) missed due dates allowed per month.</li><li>Will assist with the development and maintenance of project data files (including complete project requirements, justification, and environmental compliance criteria data) within NexGen IT or other database as designated by the Customer.</li><li>Will monitor, update, and verify accuracy and consistency of project data including review of all open work on the facility and existing projects on a facility to identify and eliminate duplication. Will be responsible to update NexGen IT or its successor within five (5) working days of a change in scope, design, funding, construction status, or project dates with no more than two (2) missed due dates allowed per month.</li><li>Prepare draft DD Form 1391s IAW specific program guidelines. Responsibilities include project justification, site impacts, funding avenues, environmental considerations (including the preparation of environmental impact data and supporting documentation), correspondence, and approval documentation for associated new projects. This includes conducting conceptual analysis to evaluate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of different project alternatives.</li><li>Prepare pre-design contract requirement packages for the Government to execute through external contracts.</li><li>Will assist with the development and maintenance of the Installation Development Plan (IDP), District Plans, and Component plans IAW DAFI 32-1015 or successor publications and guidance, Integrated Installation Planning, and the Integrated Installation Planning Playbook.</li><li>Provide site planning support services IAW DAFI 32-1015 and the Site Planning Playbook. Will gather and document existing site conditions through the Comprehensive Planning Platform (CPP) following the format provided by the Customer.</li><li>Provide IDP, District Plans, and Component plan updates to the Installation GeoBase office and be responsible for the accuracy of all planning datasets within the GeoBase program.</li><li>Will provide comprehensive project management and technical liaison services to support the Government across the entire lifecycle of a range of projects, including new construction, renovation, and improvement projects for real property facilities. These projects may involve a variety of facilities and infrastructure systems, including earthwork; airfield and roadway pavement systems; structures; high and low voltage electrical systems; HVAC; water and sewage (plumbing); fire suppression, control, and alarm systems; and related systems.</li><li>Will review project designs for maintainability, constructability, safety, communications, and potential impacts on station facilities and infrastructure. Performing routine checks and maintenance on AV systems to prevent technical issues. Providing on-site technical support during events to resolve any AV-related issues promptly. Ensuring all equipment operates smoothly to prevent interruptions during functions. Ensure that all equipment, AV systems, MEP Systems, Kitchen Equipment, Movable Partitions, Motorized Rigging Points, in all events spaces (for example but not limited to Ballroom, Bridal Suite, VIP Lounge, Meeting Rooms, Pre-Function Areas, Outdoor events space, Training Rooms, Lounges...etc ) are operationally in a perfect working condition.. By Doing routine checks, Monitoring, and Following up PPMs and corrective work orders and Reporting any defects immediately and follow up till being repaired. Collaborating with event planners, banquet teams, and other departments to coordinate AV setups and ensure timely execution. Follow up, Coordinate the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Banquet Events Schedule with the Sales Team and share it with all concerned. Maintain a minimum stock of AV setup operating supplies for example but not limited to : connection cables, power extensions, cable channels, masking tapes... Guide and assist any third-party contractor for any event setup and ensure that all safety precautions are in place. Providing training to hotel associate on basic AV operations and troubleshooting techniques. Check with duty engineer/supervisor for the priority job. Check the logbook for follow up jobs. If the maintenance takes longer time to complete, immediately communicate with the Supervisor and Duty Engineer. Ensure close the maintenance request in communication devise after completing the job. Respond promptly to Know cross service orders made from made for requests, assistance, or emergency work orders. Always keep premises clean and tidy after completing the job. Communicate with Duty engineer/supervisor of daily work progress before ending the shift. Ensure log down into the logbook before ending the shift. Follow all the Departmental procedures and instructions. Follow hotel policy and procedure while entering guest rooms for repairs. Always maintain safety procedures/conditions in working area and other associated areas. Understand and practice hotel emergency fire precaution procedures. Ensure team work to achieve the engineering departmental goals. All AV rooms, workshop areas, and equipment are clean and in good working condition Report all incidents and work-related injuries concern department and DOE. Attending all training arranged by Hygiene, Health & Safety Manager such as safety training, safety Induction, on the job training, toolbox talks, etc. Monitor Knowcross application and respond promptly to any escalated requests made for problems, assistance, or emergency work orders.<br>Standard Responsibilities Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies.
